Day Six of my Aromatix X fragrance reviews Today in 5th spot - Aromatix X Naughty Dates Inspired by Mancera Amore Caffe / Lush Sticky Dates At first spray this the opening starts bright but spicy with bergamot, mandarin and cardamom, giving the scent a lively citrus sparkle with a warm aromatic edge. The citrus keeps the opening fresh for a moment, but very quickly the fragrance moves into its real personality as the heart begins to unfold. As it settles, the signature character of the scent appears with dates, honey and coffee taking centre stage. The dates bring a thick, dark fruity sweetness that feels almost syrupy and decadent, while the coffee adds a roasted bitterness that balances the sweetness perfectly. Hazelnut and cinnamon add a toasted, slightly spicy warmth, giving the whole heart a dessert-like richness without feeling overly sugary. Underneath it all, ebony wood provides a deep woody backbone that stops the gourmand notes from becoming too sticky. In the dry down the fragrance becomes smoother and warmer as vanilla, caramel, amber and sandalwood take over the base. The vanilla and caramel create a creamy sweetness that lingers on the skin, while the amber adds a glowing warmth and sandalwood gives the fragrance a soft woody structure. The result is a dense, comforting gourmand dry down that feels luxurious and addictive. Performance is strong with this one, easily giving me 8â10 hours of longevity with solid projection early on, leaving a warm, sweet and slightly spicy trail that people will notice. Overall rating: 8.3/10 Naughty Dates doesnât have an official inspiration but Lush & Amore Caffe are closest. When first received this I wasnât a fan but itâs really grew on me and shot up my rankings, I am starting to see why a lot of people are hyping this one out of the whole line. It feels rich, dark and indulgent - almost like a warm date dessert with honey, caramel and coffee - making it best suited for cooler weather, evenings or anytime you want something bold, sweet and comforting so 5th spot for me but I feel itâs gonna keep rising.
