Much better than Replica's "By the Fire." Replica Jazz Club is a masterclass in warmth and restraint, blending sophistication with approachability in a way few tobacco fragrances manage. It opens with a smooth splash of rum and subtle pink pepper, setting a refined, slightly boozy tone before settling into a rich tobacco and vanilla heart that feels polished rather than overpowering. The woody and resinous base—anchored by vetiver and styrax—adds depth and longevity, creating layers that evolve gracefully throughout the day. Balanced and confident, Jazz Club works just as well in a professional office setting as it does in the evening, where its warm, intimate character makes it an ideal companion for a night out with someone special.

I've been looking forward to opening my 2ml decant of Decision, and today's the day. It opens with citrus and medium to sharp aromatic woods. It reminds me of being in a library, but it's nice. Rough edges smooth out after an hour, but library smell remains to the 1.5 hr mark, then mellows out. At 2 hrs, smooth medium-toned woods dominate the fragrance, with a touch of some warm spices. Vanilla is listed, but its very subtle; maybe more of a complimentary role? Sillage is moderate to strong in the 1st hr, moderate to mild to the 5 hr mark, and steady mild beyond 8 hrs. Very impressive! Most Amouage fragrances are first and foremost, INTERESTING, and this is no exception. Sharp wood can sometimes be sour and unpleasant, but this doesn't go that way. There is enough balance and depth to keep it smelling good and still unique all day. It's very stable, and doesn't change much, which is a good thing with this perfume. I like it so far, and I'm also looking forward to future wears. Keep smelling great brothers!
