So today was a cold day in Southern California so decided to try this beast of a fragrance on man. This is a wonderful DNA. It starts off with saffron and I love that opening with saffron in the opening is my jam. In the mid you start picking up the lavender and the chestnut, and even in the opening the saffron mixing with the chestnut gives you that nutty vibe and in the middle the lavender and the chestnut take over. The lavender comes a little bit later in the mid, but the chestnut is prominent throughout the mid and the dry down is just creamy sandalwood mixed with a cedar. There’s not that sharpness from cedar that I usually get from a lot of fragrances the sandalwood just rounds it out, gives it a creamy edge and then you can pick up the sweetness from the sandalwood of as well. All in all a great fragrance projection was about medium throughout the whole thing about 2 feet for about the first two hours, and then it starts dialing back then intensity is in the mids.
