This is my favorite flanker so far from the “Wanted” line, I guess I will have to try the Absolu version. It opens with a blast of fresh, sweet, and leathery aroma. The blend somehow gives me a nutty like nuance. As it dries down the sweetness takes a back seat and gives the space to the woody and earthy accords to take over, including some leathery funk appearance IMO. The opening might result more appealing for many for its playful, modern and juvenile take, but the dry down might appeal more to the grown up population for its woody and aromatic nuances. This is a beautiful fragrance that I can use to any occasion, but many will find appropriate for night outs and dress up occasions. More suitable for cooler weather and climate controlled environments. Love it! 🫠

This is such a wonderful scent. Generally more of a Spring,fall,winter fragrance, I happen to also enjoy it during the summer. When I wear it during a hot day, I find it sits closely to my skin, gives me a nice scent bubble and a small scent trail for others, but just when you think you lost it. Boom you get that wonderful nice smelling reminder. That always puts a smile on my face. "Feelings" for me is what scents are about. Does it amp me up? does it calm me down? Does it just give me that warm fuzzy feeling? Or is this the scent that draws my wife in closer to get a sniff and seeing her smile still after 38yrs together still melts my heart. This is what fragrance means to me. What does it mean to you all?

Good Morning Brotherhood, It’s going to be a scorcher here in Chicago today, so I found myself second-guessing the A.I.’s fragrance choice for me. It leaned a little too heavy, and I was worried it might become cloying in this kind of heat. Then I remembered I have a brand-new bottle of Gin Sling by Aaron Terence Hughes, which my brother @Nick Clemente was kind enough to bring back for me from across the pond a few months ago. Today marks my first full wear. So far, it’s exactly what the doctor ordered. Fresh, effervescent, and subtly boozy—more mojito than gin, to my nose—with a vibrant, zesty spice that I can only assume comes from the ginger. There are certainly fragrances that share a similar DNA, but once again ATH puts his own stamp on it, creating something that feels both mature and energetic. I’ve never had performance issues with this house, though I’m curious to see how it stands up to today’s heat and humidity. Based on my first impressions, Gin Sling is an excellent fragrance. I wouldn’t call it a banger, but it’s absolutely full-bottle worthy. First Impression Rating: 8.5/10 Projection and sillage are both moderate on my skin. I’ll reserve judgment on longevity until later, but I’m expecting somewhere around 5–6 hours. Stay cool, Brothers, and smell amazing today.
