So after the rain out from yesterday, I tried Amber plus smoke by Michael Malone again. This time I was able to log all three checkpoints unfortunately off my skin. The performance is horrible. That being said I really love the notes. The opening was awesome again it gave me that Bacharach rouge 545 but with a bit of Nayna Stewart, unfortunately I didn’t get any tobacco. I was able to get some sweetness from the amber in the mid notes. The only saving Grace to this perfume is that my wife got a whiff of it and she’s like oh you have a really nice perfume on what is it so I guess it’s staying I’m just gonna have to reapply it multiple times throughout the Day.

Crisp, clean, and quietly confident. Venetian Blue opens with fresh citrus and aromatic brightness, then settles into smooth lavender and herbs with a soft woody, musky drydown. It’s refined and professional without trying to be loud. Despite the comparisons, this is not an Aventus-style scent. No pineapple, no smoke, no birch. It fits much closer to elegant blue fragrances like Bleu de Chanel or Dylan Blue, but with a subtle Italian touch. Notes: fresh citrus, aromatic herbs, lavender, woods, musk Longevity: 7 to 8 hours (My experience) Sillage: moderate, clean, and office-friendly A classy, everyday blue that feels put together and mature. Not a dupe, just a well-crafted gentleman’s scent but I can see the comparison.
