WINNER for "The Scent That Started Your Journey" Challenge 🄁🄁
Gents — this challenge was a blast! These stories have been pure gold. Funny, real, nostalgic, and honestly the kind of posts that make this community what it is. Now… for the winner 🄁🄁🄁 šŸ† WINNER: @Lon Chaneyfield Lon took us straight back to 1981 — college in upstate New York, right after the disco/rock era — when he wasn’t exactly Mr. Smooth with the ladies. Then there was his buddy David: not the best-looking guy on campus, but somehow he had this magnetism Lon couldn’t explain. At first, Lon thought it was style — so he upgraded the wardrobe (serious Ferris Bueller vibes šŸ˜‚). But the ā€œit factorā€ still wasn’t there. Then came the moment that changed everything: On the way to a keg party, David insisted on running back to the dorm for one thing — a little white bottle. Not a clone. Not a random splash. YSL Kouros. Lon could immediately sense the power of it — bold, animalistic, unforgettable — and then watched David’s magnetism in real time at the party. The next morning, Lon made his move: with his brand-new first credit card, he hopped a bus to JCPenney and bought his first cologne for himself. And from there? The rest is basically 80s history. Lon says Kouros became tied to so many peak memories that even today, he doesn’t really wear it out… but at home? One spray and it’s instant time travel. That’s the power of scent right there. @Lon Chaneyfield — love this story! Everyone else: keep those stories coming in the feed! These are the kind of stories that make this community what it is.

Early Valentines present from my wife. šŸ˜Ž
My wife has been busy finding more scents for us. She bought both of us a discovery set from Roja. This is the Men’s set. I’m looking forward to trying this house for the first time. I’d love to hear from all of you to hear your experiences with this house. šŸ™

SOTD: Italian Leather by Memo Paris
Good morning, fragrance family, It is brutally cold out here today still subzero in Chicago and honestly, I’m beyond over it. The kind of cold that seeps into your bones and makes even quick errands feel like an Arctic expedition. Unfortunately, provisions must be gathered, so before I brave the elements I made sure to fortify myself properly. This morning’s spread was a serious, no-nonsense breakfast: crispy bacon, savory sausage, buttery cheese grits, fluffy eggs, and warm biscuits. The kind of hearty meal that sticks with you and gives you a fighting chance against this frozen tundra. Nothing fancy—just real comfort food fuel, made with love, and shared with my wife before stepping out into the cold. To match the mood and the weather, I reached for something equally bold and substantial: Italian Leather by Memo Paris. This fragrance is beautifully complex and rugged in the best way. Right from the opening, you get that green, aromatic freshness that feels outdoorsy and refined at the same time, almost like crisp air cutting through rolling hills. As it develops, the earthy and musky facets start to emerge, grounding the scent and giving it real depth and character. The leather here is the star rich, smooth, and commanding without being harsh or abrasive. It feels worn-in, luxurious, and confident, like a well-loved leather jacket that’s seen some life. There’s also a subtle hint of sweetness woven in, just enough to soften the edges and keep everything perfectly balanced. It’s complex without being chaotic, bold without being overwhelming. Performance-wise, this one is absolute top tier. Longevity is excellent, projection is strong but tasteful, and the sillage leaves a confident, refined trail that announces your presence without shouting. It’s the kind of scent that feels perfectly at home in cold weather—protective, warm, and assertive. All things considered, Italian Leather earns a rock-solid 9.75/10 in my book. A powerhouse fragrance for a brutal day, and exactly what I want on my skin while facing subzero temperatures. Stay warm out there, frag fam, and choose something that can stand up to the cold right along with you. šŸ§„šŸ”„
