Wore this to the gym this morning, and I think I’ll stick with it today. It’s cold as ice out today, so I want some summer vibes. It’s FA’s take on Room 1016’s Wavechild. I’ve never smelled the original, but I’ve heard this gets really close. This opens with a slight candied citrus and watermelon that can be a bit cloying if you go too heavy on the trigger. But it dries down to a coconutty watermelon sweet kind of smell. It reminds me of a watermelon Jolly Rancher. Leans a tad feminine, but I can only imagine this is a banger in high heat. Good stuff if you like tropical sweet fragrances.

I hope nobody is actually reading and paying attention to my posts. Last night I was committed to Cartier's Pasha EDP for the weekend. It's a really nice frag, but by 2PM this afternoon, I was ready to hang myself from boredom. We had dinner plans tonight and I didn't want to risk offending anyone with one of my crazy frags. So for the first time (ever I think) I reached for Noir Extreme Parfum by TF. I'm going to go out on a limb and say of the 8.2 billion people on the planet, not a single one is going to be offended by TF Noir Extreme. Now, I'm going to be very lazy with this post and do a simple copy and paste from some AI app. It's a "darker, bolder brother" of the original Noir Extreme Eau de Parfum (EDP). While the original is famous for its creamy, dessert-like kulfi note, the Parfum version adds a layer of ruggedness that pulls it further into masculine, evening territory. Ehh... OK, if you say so. I'm just happy I got the better one according to ChatGPT. Now I'm going to say the meanest thing I can say about a frag (or a person for that matter.) This fragrance is "nice". Interesting? No. Memorable? No. Am I going to reach for it again anytime soon? Take a guess. IMO: 6.8 / 10.0
