With snowmaggedin heading into the rearview mirror, I chose to use this amazing fragrance today which was initially part of my wife's collection but then I tried it 😎 and now it's community property!! 🤣 This particular bottle was purchased around 2014 +/- in Europe as our son was traveling on a school trip and wanted to bring him Mother home a nice gift and this was his choice! This one had more vanilla and powder than wood after the dry down, it provides a really nice scent bubble but isn't offensive with projection. I've seen some really nice longevity as well. After a long couple of days, plowing and shoveling this was an easy choice to settle back into the routine! For those of you still digging out PLEASE be careful and safe!!

Started out a balmy 25 degrees here in Houston this morning and wanted to try one of the new samples out. This is a strong incense fragrance that I definitely get some green piney sharpness from. Initially spray i can tell its going to last a long time. Stepping outside into to cold wind im picking it up nicely 5 hours later and definitely present when I get back inside. About 1 hour into the wear it started reminding my for another fragrance I both own and love. Encens Sauve Extrait my Matiere Premiere not necessarily the same scent but close enough that while I really enjoy this one for the pines resins in the opening i won't be purchasing a full bottle. At least not until I empty the Matiere Premiere. If you own either the other is redundant but if you dont own one both are worth trying Arso is slightly less sweet.
