Calling an audible
I am a planner. I like to check the weather and the schedule and try and get an idea of what I'm going to wear for the week. It's not carved in stone; sometimes you wake up and something just doesn't hit right, so I'm always willing to adjust to my moods. We're in the height of summer right now, so it's hot. But I woke up today feeling something light and woody. I blew it off, because of the temps, but I kept coming back to it. I checked and, while it's best in fall, it's considered perfectly acceptable for year-round use. So I embraced my mood and grabbed my bottle of Santal 33. Sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants.

Needed a classic feel today do I went with Floris 89. Such an elegant barber shop feel that sways takes me back to haircuts with my dad across the street from town hall. Crisp citrus and fresh spicy elements lead right in the powdery elements in the dry down. Ian Fleming was a a fan and I can definitely relate.
