SOTD/Review: Halloween X Man (Sample)

This opens with a bold blend of cardamom, lavender, and lemon, giving a spicy-citrusy kick. In the heart, roasted coffee, whiskey, cinnamon, and leather shine through, creating a warm, slightly boozy coffee-bar feel. The base is rounded out with tonka bean, amber, and incense, leaving a smoky, sweet, and cozy dry-down. Longevity is ok, 5-6hrs on skin. Projection is moderate, noticeable in the first couple hours, then softens.

Overall: 7.9/10

Quite a lovely fresh scent for notes that include coffee and whisky, actually better than I expected. I will probably get the full bottle.
