The hardest thing is saying no
I feel like I’m writing this post to myself 😂
But the hardest thing is indeed saying no. Not yes.
My instinct, in training and in work, is always to do more.
Add another session, more weight or in my case do handstands 5 times a day for an hour (jk😂).
Because it feels productive.
And I know a lot of you are the same. You’re used to working hard, showing up, getting things done. So doing more feels like the right thing.
Lately I’ve been struggling to say no. And I did too much a few times. But I am actively trying to pay attention to it and do the opposite of what my brain is telling me.
More effort doesn’t automatically mean better results. Most of the time it just adds noise, fatigue and inconsistency.
So let’s try to choose the opposite.
Doing less, but with more attention.
Less, but with more control.
Less, but actually done properly.
Lesson of the day
If I can achieve the same output, I might as well do it with the minimum input.
Who’s feeling the same? I know a lot of you here who’s been working with me 1-1 sooo don’t hide 😂
PS. I just finished a 2.5h session … so I’ll start tomorrow
