Question about Drill 4
Hi, today morning I tried the "Drill 4: Reverse Lunge with Rotation (rebuilding the sling system)" but when doing this exercise, my knees started to hurt and I feel them now during the day too. It felt like the muscles going up from the knee (around the knee?) were being strained too much while going towards the ground (while doing the lounge basically, the back knee hovering was hurting). How can I prevent this from happening?

I have done lounges before, but haven't done them for a while. I'm pretty sure the execution was correct and controlled and slow, I pay great attention to it. It hurt going down mostly, but I'll double check next time. My knee was hovering above the ground. Not sure if it was a joint or a muscle, hmmm, I think it was a muscle but I can check after a while (I need to recover first because it did give me problems and pain while walking down and up the stairs with my left knee now). My physio once told me that I have a "shortened" front muscle (don't remember the name of the muscle) in my both legs and he advised stretching them. :| During his session he also did the stretching on me (it was a bit painful - I was laying on my belly, and he would push in a controlled way my foot towards my butt). But now I'm hearing stretching isn't so good so not sure if I should continue. :D Anyway, thank you for your answer, maybe I'll try to reduce the range then, not going too low yet, this should help! :)
