Blue collar workshop
Hi 👋 I have a giant bias with a big ass assumption and I don't like to assume (because to assume is to make an ass of you and me...) So. My bias and assumption: workshops as we facilitate them are mostly for knowledge workers. It's hard to do a written workshop with manual labourers. How do you pull a workshop for blue collars who are not used to working with sticky notes or with a computer? Enormous bias here, but if anyone can clarify, that would be great!

@Dave Gregurke Will work in person. Goal is to see what can be improved without too much guessing and overruling. It will be for people working in construction. Lego is an element that came up in several discussions. Thanks a lot for the insights!

List of Workshop Exercises
Can someone please help me with a comprehensive and appropriate list of exercises for each stage of a 4C workshop? Thank you.

What about the Session Lab library? It's one of my go-to resources whenever I need an exercise or some inspiration. https://www.sessionlab.com/library
Think Like An Entrepreneur & Keep Looking for Opportunities
I created an LLC in December 2022 named JP Training & Consulting as my side gig. Today I opened a business checking account at my bank. I had a check that I needed to cash from some initial work I did in Dec/Jan. I chatted with the bank manager as I opened the account and explained my business. Then after leaving, I thought to myself. How Might a branch office of a bank find value in my facilitation services. After getting home, I asked Chat GPT the top pain points that a bank branch manager faces. I then asked Chat GPT to write a draft proposal letter to a bank manager offering my services to engage bank employees to address the pain points. I went through several iterations with Chat GPT. Then I copied the proposal letter into Google Docs and added an offer to provide a 60 minute workshop to address one of the banks pain points, in exchange for testimonials and pictures I can use for sales & marketing. I called this a no risk opportunity for the bank to check out my services. I fired this off to the bank manager via email. We'll see what happens. Maybe nothing. However it felt good brainstorming and coming up with this pitch in less than an hour. Who knows, maybe I will send this proposal to other bank managers in the area. I know it's a number game so I will case a broad net to see if I can catch a few fish. I just wanted to share this.

Great idea to use ChatGPT for it :-)
📍Where is everyone from?📍
Hello Facilitators👋 I'm really curious about where everyone is from. I'd love to make this a mega post where we can see how diverse the Facilitator Club community is. Who knows, you might find a lot more people in your area than you thought! Once I have lots of answers on this post, I want to make a nice graph!

Seeing opportunities in traditional collaboration forms to get started with design thinking and workshopping. Don't complain, suggest what's better.
