Birthdays and all the food!!!
Today is my mini me's 6th birthday🖤 We're going to Texas Roadhouse for dinner, her choice. When I say that I could happily consume about eight of their rolls with that cinnamon butter in one sitting I am not exaggerating. My goal is to have two, because I know that telling myself not to have any is unrealistic. Also checking the menu ahead of time and planning out my meal. Will have a protein shake and an apple this afternoon to prevent from being super hungry by the time we get there. Might just avoid the cake and ice cream but we'll see...wish me luck!!!😉

Great game plan!! Happy Birthday to your “mini you!” 😊
Hey my friends on BBB 💛
Just wanted to check in, I haven’t really been active the past few days. I’ve been in a bit of a funk and honestly just feeling off. I didn’t make it to the gym at all this week, and my whole body has just been out of sync. I haven’t been tracking what I’m eating either, but I have been trying to stay mindful with my portions, so I’m holding onto that as a small win. I’m hoping to shake this feeling soon and get back into my groove. In the meantime, I just wanted to say I hope you’re all doing well and staying consistent in your own ways. Wishing you all a great weekend 💫

Ditto what both coach Aron and Usra said. You did the 1st step by checking in and acknowledging what you’re feeling. Nobody is perfect and we’re human…. life happens but as coach said go for a short walk and do a little strengthening. Just don’t stay in the “funk” too long. Sending you a BIG hug!!
Leaving the comfort zone!
I thought I make a follow up, about the hardest thing I did yesterday as previously mentioned in Coach @Darren Liu post. https://www.skool.com/darrenliufitness/hard-reminder?p=de6919b0 The number one thing I love the most is planning as much and as far ahead of time. So when I received an invite to an investment & networking event on Tuesday (event was on Thursday) I was both excited but nervous at once! 😳 My brain was jumping between multiple choices: - I really want to go - I need some of my friends to join me - I‘m scared to embarrass myself so I shouldn’t go Non of my friends were free to go with me and my fear grew even bigger. But I remembered a quote: „By replacing fear of the unknown with curiosity we open ourselves up to an infinite stream of possibility!“ — Alan Watts So I had to finally make a decision to sign up by Thursday morning and I did! 😁😁 I left my home early with some snacks for my nervous system and on my way I stopped at the lake of constance to regain some inner strength! Turns out, controlling my fear was the best I could do because it was an amazing time there! WOHOO 🤩🥰🥰

✨ Thankful Thursday ✨
Last night, my daughter opened up to me about a situation that honestly made me pause as a mom. She shared that a “friend” she liked is no longer her friend. She recognized that he was not respecting her boundaries—or mine—and that his behavior felt manipulative both mentally and emotionally. And you know what? She chose to walk away. 💔➡️💪 I told her how proud I am of her for being brave enough to stand her ground and protect her peace. She also shared something heavier… he mentioned wanting to harm himself.I explained to her that while I appreciate her trusting me with that, it’s something we don’t carry alone. As a mom, I would want to know—so I will be reaching out to his mom so he can get the support he needs. I reassured her: 👉 She is not in trouble 👉 We are here to protect her and do the right thing for others 👉 We take those kinds of comments seriously We also set clear boundaries moving forward: - Block his number - Do not engage at school - If he approaches, calmly say “I don’t want to talk” and walk away - If she feels uncomfortable, go straight to a teacher, counselor, or admin What I’m most thankful for today… 💛 That she felt safe enough to come to me 💛 That she had the strength to choose herself 💛 That we’ve built a foundation where she knows her worth and uses her voice This is bigger than just parenting—this is raising a strong, self-aware young woman. To my BBB fam: What’s something this week that reminded you you’re growing—mentally, emotionally, or physically?

Wonderful parenting skills Lena and it’s great that your daughter opened up to you especially at her age where a lot of teens don’t share with their parents. I always opened up with my boys and visa versa. They grew up to be fine young men. We can be proud of our children. 🥰

@Lena Nguyen mahalo for your kind words too Lena! 😊
Protein pizza
Have you tried it yet? The chicken pizza? It is reeeeaaaally delicious 😃🥰😋 I did two with the chick pea flat bread I baked, so extra protein for me! Two was made on a regular tortilla bread and one was just with chicken. To the minced chicken, I added fine chopped tomato sauce, chorizo salami, red onion, garlic, mushrooms, with nice mozzarella, gouda cheese and herbs, salt and pepper.
