I think, for me, healing and inner resilience. There are so many layers to clear, then rest and digest. Practising daily breath work is so helpful. Yesterday I was driving and my anger popped up. I did not know at first why, but it was building. I did not know what to do, but my body did! I started breathing to clear, then a quick reset of my nervous system. I was able to stay mindful with my driving too. I did not have to pull over for a full emotional release. That was later when it was safe.
Listening to the Body Before the Mind Speaks
Lately I’ve been noticing how the body speaks long before the mind catches up. A tight chest before a conversation… a sinking belly before a decision… a warmth in the throat when something true wants to be said. What’s surprised me is how intelligent these sensations are. They’re not random, they’re leadership. When I stopped trying to “fix” the discomfort and instead got curious about it, something shifted. The tension wasn’t a problem anymore; it became a doorway. Emotional fluidity stopped meaning “feel good” and started meaning “let every feeling move.” The more capacity I build, the more I’m realizing: My nervous system isn’t holding me back. It’s holding my history, my wisdom, and my way forward. If anyone else is exploring this edge, what’s one sensation or pattern your body has been teaching you lately?

Day 38
Today as I was practing an unusual visual came to mind of me on one side of a glass wall and my family the other side. It hit deep in my gut as that is a good representation of how I'm feeling right now like I'm on the outside looking in. I decided to clear that out and another visual of me taking a hammer to that glass and smashing it then stepping through to my family cropped up. As I stepped through a feeling of relief welled up. Wow this reminded me of when my Mom died when I was a teen and how I felt back then. In my experience my whole family was hurting and I felt like I no longer fit with them as their grief made it so I had to stuff my own so I did not hurt them more. I thought I had worked through this in therapy but the body has held on to those emotions. Today was very powerful as I really do feel a huge release.

🌱 What Has Your Body Taught You This Month?
Lately I’ve been paying closer attention to the subtle shifts in my body, how certain sensations come with messages I used to overlook. It’s been eye-opening to realize how much guidance the body offers when we stop trying to think our way through everything. So I’m curious… What’s one thing your body has taught you this month that your mind wouldn’t have discovered on its own? I’d love to hear your reflections. 🌿

Thanks for asking! I am going through so many changes right now. When another aha! moment hits with emotional overwhelm I go to the daily breathwork asap and then I am able to integrate rather than push it back down. I can now check in with my body and move before I am out of bed. Today I wanted to dance!
