Asking for advice - sharing my journey, traveling🌎
Hello fellow synthesizers, I feel like I am ready to go. I would like to share my journey from 0 to $10K/month. I have been traveling (mainly backpacking) and I would like to travel as I do it. I am deciding which platform to choose. Option 1: YouTube. I would have either 2 channels - one for traveling, second for sharing my journey or one channel where I would blend both Option 2: Facebook group, eventually skool I would create a Facebook commuity and share my journey there, eventually moving to Skool when I build a big enough audience Option 3: something else What would you recommend? Thank you🙏

Definitely skip Facebook groups and I’d start ONE YouTube channel combining it all :)

If your target audience is middle schoolers, perhaps you could get a decent following. Every teenager thinks that they are going to be a self help guru now. You are trying to teach others how to get to your level, but you’re only level 17. You are regurgitating the same things all the other self help gurus have said, adding nothing novel or of value. I really don’t want to come across like a dick , please, this is advice coming from the heart. Based on what you said in your video you should see that though. Good luck my friend. :)
1 Billion+ views NOTES
A few months ago, the top minds of YouTube hosted a space on Twitter (yeah, I still call it Twitter). Speakers included: - Mario Joos (Retention Specialist, worked with MrBeast) - Noah Morris (Faceless Genius- 18 channels) - Ed Lawrence - Etc. I was in that space the whole time and took NOTE of everything important discussed. Today, I am sharing my notes with synthesizers... 1 BILLION+ VIEWS NOTES How to Succeed as a Beginner Creator in 2024: - Capture a Specific Market: Start by targeting a specific niche and expand gradually. - Be Yourself: Authenticity matters more than ever. - Try Long Videos: Some creators are finding success with longer content. YouTube's Secret Sauce: Viewer Satisfaction And it comes from 2 aspects 1. Grabbing Attention: Your title and thumbnail should create interest. 2. Delivering What's Promised: Make sure your content matches expectations. (DON'T CLICKBATE) What is STORYTELLING in simple terms: A good passage of information. A well structured video that gives the viewer what they want. Keep Viewers Interested: - Minimize Drop-offs: Try not to lose viewers between segments (e.g., Intro). - Show Your Personality: Humans like seeing real personalities. Social Proof Works : - Videos with higher view counts influence viewer behavior. People are more likely to click on a video with 1 million views than a video with 10k views Niche doesn't die; the topic dies. ChatGPT might disappear, but AI will not. Btw, use ChatGPT for writing segments, not the entire script. (Quillbot makes ChatGPT human) Understand Audience Psychology: - Shorts, live videos, and long-form content cater to different viewer expectations. - Shorts: To get eyeballs - Long form: To build deeper connection - Live: To build a parasitic relationship with your audience What Every Creator Should Do:

Thanks for the share! I’ve never heard of Quill or using a paraphrasing tool to assist in writing, that’s so helpful.
Dear Son... (Big decisions)
Dear Son... when you have a big decision to do don't think of the positive things that could happen think of everything bad, all the big pile of S.... that you'll encounter why? because by only thinking about the good things you will make an uninformed decision and once you are in and you discover all the bad things that you need to encounter to reach these good things that will be like a hammer hitting you in the stomach because you don't expect it, So it hits twice as hard but by foreshadowing the negatives it becomes an informed decision because you know the whole process now, all the good and bad things and you can build a plan on top of this information don't think about which results I want, but think about which problem would i prefer to have? or simply would I love to have these problems? these problems are the only things keeping you away from what you want, so if you like them you already succeed list down all the downsides of this decision analyze the problems and choose the problems not the results Dad ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- P.s: I don't have a son, this is a note to self, and to my future childrens

Reminds me somewhat of the new Rian Doris video! The more things we have the more problems we will have. The more things we strive for the more issues we will inevitably have to face. Minimalistic living means we discipline what we value and interact with to align most with our goals. The only caveat I would make to your post here is - let’s not find the problems that we would like to have. What problems am I uniquely designed to be able to handle, which no other human being is quite set up for? What is the largest goal I can strive for - with problems that I know that I could handle, or just barely handle? What would push me to my absolute edge, but not over the side of the cliff? What can my physiological nervous system hold before going haywire? ahh now we see true potential. Perhaps this is too extreme of a perspective, but I think this is how growth works

@Alessandro Canti I totally saw your perspective and almost felt like I could have come across as a bit intense with what I was saying lol but I think you are nailing it with weighing decisions, really thinking about which direction to go in the first place … I guess my post was an attempt to integrate a consideration as to how personal strengths and overall purpose can also taint the color of the experience one has on the path they choose . Cheers Bruv son will be legend
