addiction .. small question
How do you cope with addiction? I used to take a beer at the evening to stop thinking, to be abled to wind down, and relax a bit. Over the years, it 's become such a habbit, it became really an addiction. Did anyone had the same problem? and more impotant ... how to solve this?
Sleep music
My ADHD brain won’t quiet at night - I use sleep hypnosis or music to drift off. Is this harmful for ADHD brains? Does it affect morning dopamine?

I do the same for 3 years now. at first i really tried different apps, still use 'Mandspa'. But is 't an expensive one. I listen to 'bineural beats' on a music app, taht really helps me stop thinking the time i just got to bed. By the time i shut it off, my mind is relaxed enough to fall a sleep. I used to lay awake for over an hour, and now i fall asleep more easy. i allways carry my headphone to bed :)
Are you using Medication and is it helping?
I'm interested in what medications people are using to help with their ADHD and how it's working for you, I take a small dose of Vyvance every morning, if I skip it I feel very foggy, unfocussed and unmotivated and my energy takes a nosedive but I'd love to get off it some day if possible.

Tried several, but at the end, i stick with Ritaline. it works for me. Not every day, just if i feel i have a lot to accomplish and the day is a hard one, i take that as 'backup'. it really helps me focus on one task, feel good about doing the thing i couldn't start with earlyer ..
At my own pace ..
I joined the 5 day challenge, but did not introduce myself yet. I'm a 47 yo father and husband. I was a teacher in elementary school for 22 years, but changed jobs a year ogo. The combination of teaching and my own family was to overwelming. I follow the challenge watching the recordings, i cant' make it at the time when the live sessions are. i'm struggling my whole life, relly looking for some place to feel at peace. Even if its just a little place inside my head :)

Overwhelm - time related 🤯⏱️⏰
While figuring out if the adhd label fits, I also feel the time overwhelm. Like, how is it even possible the challenge is allready on day 4 but my head and time and mind space can’t get beyond day 1 (yet). It’s like I”m always behind, every day (not even in the challenge but at work, organisation at home) How do other people handle that? Zooming out? Getting an overview on things?

I understand. After seing day 1, it needs time. not to hear what is said, but to feel it, to live it .. atherwise i'm affraid it won't stick. Same after day 2, defenetly after day 3 :) Just go with t flow, and as Sam said, you are exectly where you are meant to be.
