I have both Autism and ADHD. Here's my experience so far:
@Jim Ebbelaar: Whatever crack cocaine you put into this challenge is absolutely working, and is definitely applicable to more neurotypes than *just* ADHD in the clinical sense. Proof: I've finished 2 open loops this week: 1. Contacting my client about an extension 2. Writing the script for said client. I was intending for each of them, in that order, to be the open loop I finish for the challenge. After day 3, I: - somehow did most of the morning launch protocol without having even known about it - was on time and activated for the entire day, - entirely automated my own scriptwriting gig with Claude's free plan (Projects and custom writing styles) and the deep research and custom GPTs features from ChatGPT. Needless to say, this has probably been the most outwardly productive 4 day stretch of my entire life, and I've been struggling with both Autism *and* ADHD for 22 years; and, if all goes well, no longer counting. And that's not even mentioning the breakthroughs from the deep questions. I've yet to complete the final 3 deep questions as of writing this. I'm certain I'll have MOST, if not all of my mind laid to bare before me, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

📊 My lowest Harmony dimension: Career / Financial Stability 🌙 Wind-down pattern I notice: Avoiding going to bed due to feeling guilty about not achieving enough in this day yet.... feeling too low energy and lacking in focus and motivation to use the time well, so it just gets frittered away unproductively.🌅 Morning pattern I noticed: doom-scrolling or getting distracted by interesting posts, messages, emails and requests... and these just chewing up hours with no significant progress being made on the things that really matter. 🔁 I decided to close my open loop: and messaged the person at the finance company. (She set me a link to make a time to meet with her in a week or so). There's still a lot more to do on that project, but I have made progress and asked for help. 💭 And it made me feel: less panicky, afraid, and down on myself. Relief and a bit more calm. 🤯 What surprised me: How a small step in the right direction really helps my body, mind and nervous system to feel calmer.

@Beth St Claire you are making progress just by observing the habits and awareness can change them. I think it was in the first session that Jim said “where attention goes, energy flows”. You have made conscious choices already so that’s a huge win. 😊
Sleep music
My ADHD brain won’t quiet at night - I use sleep hypnosis or music to drift off. Is this harmful for ADHD brains? Does it affect morning dopamine?
Project Management / To Do Systems
I’m curious if anyone has found a system to keep track of projects and to do’s that has worked long term. I’ve tried many: asana, notion, Monday, todoist, etc. but none have helped very much; they seem to create more work for me in just trying to learn how to use them or they aren’t robust enough. I tried Finch again recently (appreciating it’s improvements); it is working great for day to day goals at home but not work projects.

@Tracy Weiss i think I’ve tried pretty much everything & none of them stuck. Playing around with an idea where you connect notes, shortcuts, email to either chat gpt or Claude & it will sort it out for you. If you save something in notes & add “@claude” it will allocate it, send a reminder etc
How old were you when…
I’m curious how old you were when you were diagnosed. I was in my 50s.
