What is your main motivation for mobility/flexibility training?
I am curious to hear how and why people got into mobility and flexibility training. For me, I was worried about not being able to move freely in my body when I got older. I was worried about getting injuries from preforming simple movements. I read about osteoporosis, and I didn't want to go through that. Before I started training, I couldn't sit in criss-cross apple sauce. I didn't realize how restricted I was before I started training. It is truly life-changing, and I would recommend this to anyone.

I’m curious, Mr. Cheese, how did you get the name “Chicken”? Origin stories are a nice distraction from the “release gracefully” pain. 😉
subconscious flexibility
not sure what this is worth but i do find it interesting. last night i dreamt i was doing the middle splits with no problem at all. in real life i’m nowhere near doing these. i’m also not chasing this position in my current training though i think it would be cool to be able to do. typically in my dreams i have great difficulty doing physical things. when i’m skateboarding i can’t land any tricks, if i’m fighting i can’t land any hits. so it was interesting that the splits happened with such ease. this training must be having some deeper subconscious effects. like my brain is trusting my body in these positions more. anyone else have similar dreams?

Wednesday Wonders
Happy Wednesday! As I plan, write, record, and release new training, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for the feedback that so many have given these last few weeks. I appreciate and thrive from both the encouragement and the opportunity to solve problems. This community provides additional purpose to who I am and what I already had to offer. Outcomes matter. Pathways matter for sure, but we still seek outcomes that provide measurable changes and overproduce along the way. One of my personal outcomes from leading this community over the last few months is - I realize that I know more than I knew, that I knew. That isn’t intended to be a tongue twister, nor is it to brag. It is a realization of the necessity to teach this unique training and evangelize it to make it a standard rather than a lesser known outlier. I feel the weight of that responsibility, and use all of my strengths to let it grow my body and mind stronger with the intention to serve the needs of others. therefore I must, Flex Hard. Now back to the feedback and planning. Which of the following most excited you? Think of 2) as 15-30 minutes of more targeted Full Body Hybrid training and 3) as 15-30 minute FlexTheory for Fighters, but superior. 1) is glutes for strength, athleticism, and good old appearance. ALL of these are happening.
