Sunday!
One of the many things I like about Sundays, is the opportunity to start over. Sometimes we have to start over due to circumstances beyond our personal control, and other times we GET to start over because the sun is coming up and we awaken to see it. Today is an opportunity to be what all of our yesterdays prepared us for, and what all of our tomorrows require. Flex Hard!

My goal: to build real mastery over my body, strength, control, and movement that actually feels intentional. Biggest challenge: flexibility. Introduction
Hello everyone, wishing you all well! My name is Tawana, i'm a martial arts practitioner and I'm here after seeing Andre's incredible work on instagram. Its been inspiring to find a movement and flexibility method that works through real strength. I aim to grow just as dynamic and powerful, so I'm happy to be here and hope to share and connect with you all. Excited for this community, and in the words of Andre 'flex hard!' aha!

First ETS session
Just did my first ETS session and I felt sensations in my low back and pelvis that I've never felt before (in a good way). My ability to produce a strong contraction with my hamstring by driving my heel into the floor in that lengthened position is hilariously weak and I get why I've always had issues opening up here now. So excited to keep pushing this paradigm. One question i have is that at one point in the session we're required to internally rotate the leg while you have one hand behind you, until the inside of the foot is on the ground. It seems like i hardly have any ability to internally rotate my hip like that. It rotates maybe 25-30 degrees max, so i basically get zero access to my adductors. Will continuing HOF give me access to that position.

I’m glad you’re starting the series! The Reach & Press and Pull & Oress are just the foundational beginnings. Your hamstrings and adductors are going to get mighty strong as you continue. Yes, I said “mighty”. HOF and ETS will cause continued improvements with your internal hip rotation, which may not be exclusively restricted by your adductors. As your respective positions and angles change, more will be revealed. I’ll keep helping you get past plateaus and moving forward. Keep up the great work!
