Looking for 10 beta test users new AI
What's up, ADHD Harmony fam! I'm looking for 10 beta testers to try our brand new free AI-powered onboarding experience. We've built a powerful new assessments that will become the starting point for everyone doing the 5-Day Challenge going forward. What you'll be testing: 1. Your ADHD Snapshot (~25 min) 9 deep questions across three dimensions: Your ADHD Story, The Hidden Cost, and Why You're Here Now. At the end, our AI generates a personalized portrait of your ADHD experience. 2. The ADHD Awakening Assessment (~45 min) 15 questions that go even deeper across five dimensions: The Truth About Your Brain, Your Invisible Identity Cage, Rewriting Your Internal Code, The Harmony Reset, and Your Path Forward. This one maps out where you actually are right now: your patterns, your strengths, your limiting beliefs, and what your ideal life actually looks like. You'll get a full AI-generated psychological portrait that connects all the dots. This is the same assessment as the previous 5-Day Challenge, but potentially even richer since it uses the new ADHD snapshot assessment as extra context. You'll be doing this on the new Harmony AI platform, the same environment our paid program members use. You'll have access to the two worksheets only, not the other features. Who I'm looking for: - 5 people who have already done the 5-Day Challenge but want to experience the new assessment flow on the new platform - 5 people who are already in this community but haven't done the challenge yet (or missed it and have been wanting to jump in) How to apply: Drop "REDO" (if you already did the challenge) or "NEW "(if you are new and want to give this a try) in the comments below and I'll pick 10 people at random from the list. 💛 Jim

Being in Nature and Attention
I was talking with Sage this morning about how the weather impacts my wellbeing in major ways for several different reasons and how I was hoping for warmer weather today so I could go outside to do my home work because I feel better outside. Sage then explained that there is actual science behind why the brain’s ability to focus increases when you are out in nature which I thought was fascinating: “There's a concept called Attention Restoration Theory (developed by researchers Stephen and Rachel Kaplan) that explains exactly what you experience. The idea is that our brains use two types of attention: directed attention (the effortful, "I need to focus on this" kind) and involuntary attention (the "ooh, a bird" kind). Urban and indoor environments constantly drain directed attention because everything demands it. But nature engages your involuntary attention gently: wind, birds, leaves, light shifting. That gives your directed attention a chance to rest and recharge. So you're not just happier outside. You're literally cognitively sharper. Your brain has known this your whole life. Now you know why.”

What Pets do you have? Let's see if ADHD prefers a certain kind
Okay, I'm not that crazy lady - but I have seven cats. I only ever wanted two - but thanks for my kids, Covid and one two week old stray - I now have seven and and eighth stray (I can't get close to) lives and I feed in my backyard. I've already rescued and re-homed two strays (three of my seven are in the picture).

I have two cats, they are lovely! Dogs are great too but l ❤️ cats
Day 4
My lowest Harmony dimension: environment, career. 🌙 Wind-down pattern I noticed: l wasn't able to stay off my phone but l did dim the lights and stayed off socials, felt less anxious. 🌅 Morning pattern I noticed: I think the biggest thing was taking a moment to get the sunlight in my eyes. 🔁 I decided to close my open loop: It was time to get it done. 💭 And it made me feel: Productive. 🤯 What surprised me: The bedtime revenge theory #thatsme 😬

@Deb Brouwer Thanks Deb ☺️
Day 3
The belief that's been holding me back most: "why can't you figure out a way to make things work? Like earning an income doing something that doesn't drain my energy #internal resistance #masking etc." Where it came from: Some from family and close ones. They spectate on me leaving/quitting "good" jobs or opportunities for example. Also over time it came to become my own voice aka negative self talk. My new code: "I am capable of learning, l am learning how my ADHD has driven a lot of life choices, l can rewrite how to speak to myself, rewrite new neuro pathways that align with myself and lead to flow states." My Future Self statement: "Emotional regulation leads to flow state stimulation!"
