Video previews unavailable - alternative solution needed
My members send videos made from their phones by commenting on a post as homework. But there's no preview option on Skool, which makes it inconvenient for them to watch each other’s videos. In my community submitting homework unlocks the next course and should be available for any member to watch. To watch a video on Skool on a phone: 1. Click "file". 2. Get a "No preview available" message, then click "Download". 3. In Chrome, it opens about:blank. Click "Download" at the bottom. 4. Click "Open in..." 5. On iOS, choose an app to watch the video. Click "Open in Downloads". 6. Scroll through Downloads to find the file with a weird name, like 73625969402_38. 7. Watch the video. 🎉🌈 Does anybody has an alternative?

@Bijan Izadi This requires them to create an account on loom right?

Yeah I'm looking for something like a sharable folder on Drive or dropbox that doesn't just storage but also looks beautifully designed and is easy to use until Skool implements native video previews. Thanks for your suggestion though👍
The app you're most happy to pay for
Which monthly subscription app or service that you use in your Skool community do you LEAST resent paying for each month? For me, it's Canva. Every time that one pops up on the credit card statement, I nod and say, "Yeah, fair enough. Respect to those plucky design lords." That app has really come along, over the last year or so. So what about you? Hit me!

@Jason Arnopp I moved my task management from Notion to Todoist (because Notion is soooo slow) and then todoist feels like usain bolt. I love it mainly because of the global shortcut to capture anything really while you work in another window and it recognizes natural language very well such as: every 2 weeks cut the grass #home. (this puts this task in your "home" folder)

New Skool Features to Add
-> Update on arranging your classroom modules - Currently, you're restricted to shifting the module left or right by just one spot, with an auto page reload each time. I propose an option to simply click, drag, and drop the module to its precise location within the classroom. In communities like mine with over 20 modules, the incremental movement becomes quite tedious. -> Allow more than 3 pinned messages. Additionally, it would be beneficial to allow pinned messages to be pinned within their respective categories, rather than displaying all of them under the "ALL" category. -> The ability to categorize the community according to specific parameters, such as paid tiers, would be advantageous. Subsequently, enabling the community to restrict access to certain pages or categories based on the specific category of community member would enhance control and organization. -> Within the membership tag, it would be beneficial to include letters as well, not just numbers. Since our tiers are labeled with names rather than numbers, it would be convenient to attach these names to community members. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I eagerly anticipate the implementation of these updates.

@Jason Hubble Yes! What do you mean by chat room? Are you referring to categories?

@Jason Hubble Got it, pinned posts to a category could be a thing the Skool team might take into consideration. However, it's simpler to stick with straightforward categories. That's what really makes Skool special - their thoughtful choices about what to include and leave out.

Yes! This would be possible with an external landing page. If you setup an automation in Zapier you can invite people for your Skool community upon Stripe payment. In the future, it will be natively supported by Skool.

@Yuval Perez It's also possible btw without a landing page by sending a stripe payment link directly to your client. A lot of community owners here are using the landing page option though!
