How to make money (without being an expert)
Credibility-hack. Leverage the credibility of others through close association. When I got started on YouTube I was a spotty, uneducated, teenager. I had zero credibility. So I procrastinated on making content for ages. "Why would anyone want to listen to me?" So I borrowed the credibility Stoicism to start uploading videos: https://www.youtube.com/@AndrewKirbys/videos (sort by oldest). I was never claiming I was an expert. I was saying "Marcus Aurelius was an expert, and here's what he said." It worked! I started growing my audience. It's worth noting you can credibility hack in many ways. Leverage science (like Rian Doris), leverage celebrities (like Jeff Bezos Vs Elon Musk's morning routine), or really anything else that has credibility. Then I realised that I had overcome my procrastination around uploading videos, so now I had some credibility around that topic. "I used to procrastinate, now I don't, here's how I did it." I went from borrowing other's credibility to having a bit of my own. I started being the 'productivity guy' Launched a flagship digital product. Made $1M in 2 years. So... if you don't have credibility... Credibility-hack!

What You Do Today Determines What Your Future Becomes
What would your future daughter say about your actions today? Would your future wife be glad you didn't work your hardest on your dreams? Would your future self be better off with what you're doing right now, or not? If the answer is no, then you know it is wrong. --- Self-love isn't some hippy shit where you sing kumbaya and dance around a fire naked. It's where you care about your future self, and you don't screw him over because you wanted some instant gratification today. Let me tell you a secret to life: if you focus on what you need to do TODAY, every day, you need never worry about what the future holds. Do your best today and the future will sort itself out. As long as you have a vision, a plan, a worthy goal, you will get there, provided you follow the right system. Don't stress, cry or complain about not being there yet, it's all part of the journey. Enjoying the journey makes it go 10x quicker, and gives you more: 1. Motivation 2. Creativity 3. Decision Making Skills 4. Discipline 5. Satisfaction --- Here's another secret of human psychology: We ONLY do the things that we want to do. Yes that's right, everything. If you did something that you thought you didn't want to do, guess again. A part of you decided there would be some benefit to it, otherwise you wouldn't have done it. We are selfish creatures. Either consciously, or unconsciously, we choose our destinies. Most people are sheep, following the standards and norms set by society, their friends and social media. They live unconsciously, unaware of the beliefs and emotions that are running their entire lives. We DO live in a matrix, but it is one of our own making. The prison of your own mind is the only one that you cannot see, but can escape at any time. You CHOOSE not to escape it because: ------------------------------------------ 1. You don't realise it is there 2. You believe you can't 3. You don't want to/fear leaving --- The only way to escape the limitations of your own mind is to become AWARE.

@Joe Esper I don't think I would. Let them start the business, go all in, and the experience will help them understand themselves & what they want otherwise they could stay at the figuring out what they want phase & never take the leap. They want their own business, which shows them something towards what they really want. If the business fails, that's fine as they won't be starting from scratch next time, instead they'll be able to move farther faster.
