Just hit 1.5k members inside my community today, it's been just a few months since I started at 1 member (me lol) and have grown reasonably quickly despite not having any big social platforms. I'm still a small fish in this pond, but I wanted to drop a quick gem for anyone who feels like they can't get started because they don't have a big enough following / personal brand. The truth is starting a Skool has advanced my personal brand, the 0 to 100 member journey may take a bit of leg work, but for me 100 - 1.5k has been 95%+ organic growth within Skool, I haven't seen organic growth this explosive anywhere else. If you putting it off because your waiting to scale your personal brand, my best advice would be take the opposite approach, it's literally what will create your most dedicated support base and advanced that personal brand of yours. Has anybody had success growing a paid community with FB & IG ads? My Dilemma: Should I run ads to my free community, and try to upsell the free members to a paid community? Should i run the ads directly to the $49/ month paid community? Or, should i run ads to a VSL landing page > paid community? Also, should the i be doing traffic or leads ads since you can’t track conversions? So many questions! What had worked best for you? Cheers

Incredible news everyone! In just one day, my new free community, Amazon Influencer Elites, has surpassed 200 members! It is a community of Amazon influencers and free intro training to teach people how to leverage Amazon's influencer program to earn passive income, and ultimately unlock financial freedom💰 I was able to grow this quickly by inviting the members of my existing private Facebook group, offering them to join for free for the next 24 hours, then the community will become $49 per month for urgency. (but I plan to leave this community free). I also did an email campaign with the same message to my email list. My question to everyone is, what has worked best for you to get free members to upgrade and pay for your "VIP" community? My Current Method: - In my free community, I offer a free mini course that teaches the basics of Amazon, and the potential results, case studies etc. and they can see 12 locked courses that require upgrading to the $49 per month VIP community. - I have an auto DM that starts a conversation to try and upsell - I have profile 3 links that all take you to the VIP community join page (Upgrade Your Account ⬆️ Live Coaching Calls, 🚀 Advanced 6 Figure Training 💰) - I have a pinned post that discusses the benefits of joining the VIP community I currently only have 2 paid members of the 220 that joined the free community. Skool Discovery is awesome because it can give you "free leads" if you set up your community correctly. For example: I just created this new bitcoin community and 50% of all our new members are joining from Skool Discovery. Here are 6 steps I took to make it happen (and how you can replicate what I've done): Step 1) I went on Skool Discovery and searched for popular keywords like "fruitarian", "veganism", "crypto", "testosterone", "skool", "bitcoin" etc. until I found the 1 keyword that had very little competition and 1 that I knew a lot about. Step 2) I created a new Skool community using my friends affiliate link so she'd get paid monthly and I immediately changed the URL to skool.com/bitcoin so that nobody else could take it. Note: If the URL you want is taken, be creative! If /bitcoin was taken I probably would have gone with /btc. Step 3) I filled the classroom AND community with educational content all about bitcoin. I created various classes that you can see in the attached photo below ⬇️ Step 4) I invited a handful of friends to join so it didn't look so empty. Step 5) I created this simple freebie funnel and promoted a "Playlist of my Favourite Bitcoin Videos" on social media. When people opted in to get the free playlist, my funnel said: "Congrats! You can either wait 5 minutes for it arrive in your inbox, or you can get it instantly inside my free Educational Bitcoin Community here." Most people didn't wanna wait 5 minutes... 😜 Step 6) People just find me on Skool Discovery now because they search for the keyword "Bitcoin" and I've optimized my group for discovery so I show up. One of my mandatory membership questions when people join is "How did you find this group?" and I can see that 50% of new members are saying "Skool Discovery."
