Uncle Jimmy is out of this world
Friday last week I was on an ads coaching call with Jimmy, wondering why my winning DCT ad stopped working. I assumed it was ad fatigue, and was looking for advice to innovate. He looked at the day breakdown and saw that we hadn't gotten a lead from the ad in 10 days. Immediately, he said there's probably something wrong in the setup. We went in and looked, and for sure, Facebook had for some reason decided to remove the banner image in all my lead forms. (Check all your ad accs btw, this happened literally on all my lead forms for all clients.) Hence, the lead form performed way worse than usual. I changed the form back, and this week we're at a $9.35 (!!) CPL from the ad!!!!! I probably wouldn't have spotted the lead form error for another week otherwise and would have probably killed this ad.... lol. @Uncle Jimmy Mitchell's knowledge cannot be understated. (Included GIF of Unc solving the FB lead form Kira case)

I Need Your Input: Client Offering Me A Fulltime Role In Their Company
I think I'm on the right track, but I would love some input from experienced agency owners and marketers if I'm blindsided or on my path to destruction. 2 months ago I signed a client outside of my niche. It was a referral from a friend and I've been helping him do meta ads and simple lead nurture with GHL for $750 USD / month + ad spend. We've been working together decently and getting him 100+ leads to work with. I didn't give him my usual pitch or offer but adapted it to his business needs. We had a meeting 2 hours ago and talked about progress so far. He says he wants my 100% commitment and he couldn't get that because he wasn't paying enough (I like that train of thought) and is now offering me 2.2K USD to work with him "fulltime" for 12 months - Great benefits, remote work, government subsidy and no non-compete clause. I can essentially go crazy and do anything with their marketing, implement new systems and SOPs and test everything. I'll still have time to work with another existing client and work on Agency Service Scaling Kings and EG. I'm most likely going to take the offer because it helps pay the bills, I'm learning + earning and I'm following the money. I just need to come up with a solid job description, follow some of his KPIs and we hit the ground running. It's still a discussion to be finalized but he's sending me details. Would love to hear from you guys.

sounds like an interesting opportunity to learn + earn for a solid 12 months. take everything and all the resources provided and go crazy lol (within respectful limits), figure it out afterwards. maybe after 12 months, you'll have more clarity on what you want to pursue in the longer term 2-4-6+ years and what your end goal will be. or perhaps you realize this isnt for you and will venture onth a new path
Question for cancelled Fb call
Hey guys, Since the Fb call was cancelled, I'd just drop my question here :) I’ve signed a new client that is a nautical center. They rent kayaks and sell excursions around Montreal’s Riverside. What are your first impressions about a business like this? I’d like to know your first thoughts about what strategy should work and what shouldn’t. Since you’ve seen lots of different businesses, your input might help me orient my strategy. Thanks!

perhaps an end of summer offer starting now, getting people to enjoy the last few weeks of the warm weather by trying a new activity such as kayaking/riverside excursion
Important for everyone running FB lead ads
I've experienced 2 issures since the CrowdStrike event: 1. Facebook removed the banner picture of all my lead forms in all accounts. This meant way lower lead form conversion rate. Check your forms! 2. Some new forms get disconnected/"unmapped" in GHL. After mapping the forms, they might spontaniously undo that mapping meaning you won't get their info. Worth checking in over course of multiple days. Let's crush together 🙌

someone mentioned that the only way to properly check all your recent incoming leads is by downloading the csv!
