My first GGBB Session
Today was a struggle for sure. @Andre Victorian I took your recommendation and completed the #GGBB Session #1 after completing yesterdays HOF video. I found today to be way more difficult, mainly due to the position of sitting on my feet. The amount of stress that I was feeling in my knees in particular forced me to take some moments of pause to walk around a shake out before continuing. This made it harder to be completely upright (I probably was leaning forward a little still, especially when we had to bring the foot to our butt I could keep my body posture up right) and I I think because of this I did have some trouble getting that tension to feel my sacrum, though I did feel it a little bit more during the Tuck & Curl. The second half of the work out was a lot more accessible to me. Andre do you have any recommendations about being in that first position for long periods of time, or is it something that will just get better with time.
Hey everybody
I'm Jerry, I've been trying out some of the stretches from the IG. I joined because I'm looking for more structure with my fitness and life in general. I'm coming up on 6 months of muay thai and I know that better mobility will take my practice to the next level. Also, really hoping to address this back pain I've had for almost 2 decades from my first job. Its a lotta content in here so I'll start with the hip sequence and take it from there. If anyone has any suggestions otherwise I'm all ears. Peace

Welcome @Jerry Burns, I recently just joined as well, glad to see other people looking to use this to push past their limitations as well!
Introduction
Hello, I’m Emery and I play soccer. I have been pretty active my whole life, I played a variety of sports when I was younger and I ran track from middle school to high school, but have always suffered from hip immobility, hamstring injuries, and just muscle tightness in general. I am 23 years old and want to feel better in my body and get stronger in those areas. I also recently started Capoeira and noticed again that my hips and hamstrings aren’t handling intense activity as well as I want to. I found Flex Theory, on Instagram probably over a year ago now and incorporated some of the exercises I saw in post into my workout routines, but I decided to join today so I could be more consistent and build a more effective training plan around my hips and hamstrings. Excited to be here and learn more!

@Laura Segal Thank you and I most definitely will post updates, I am intrigued to see how much growth I will see now that I am pairing this training alongside Capoeira (I recently started in September and its my first time trying any martial arts).

@Raza Quraishi Thank you I am excited to share my progress as well, having recently started both, this will will be a great place to document!
HOF Session 1
Started off with the Hips of Fury module 1 today, and was immediately noticing a difference in the amount of tension I was generating in the different positions compared to traditional hip flexor and hamstring stretches i was thought in PT/high school. My hips are super tight but Im interested to see where i'll be after several weeks of doing this kind of practice. I really liked how the runners lunge helped me focus on the position of my hips and trying to get and keep them low. Does anybody have any tips for keeping your hips low and driving your knee during the push pull section (I noticed that my back knee was sliding forward)?

@Raza Quraishi Thank you for the help. This was my first session so I probably wasn't driving my back foot hard enough into the ground, will have to keep going to get used to this exercise!

@Andre Victorian Thank you for the tips.
Hey everyone! 👋
Came across this program on Facebook and decided to jump in. I’ve been focused on improving how my body feels - more flexibility, better movement, less stiffness. The intro modules are definitely a good challenge so far. I’m mainly here to work on mobility and would love to hear how others are using these routines or what results you’ve seen so far. Any tips for someone just starting?
