Storing Video Files
Creating videos means storing lots of big files. It seems that some recording softwares only allows saving on local disk. Remote editors need access via cloud storage though. I m having "Media" Folder on my local disk, usb drive, gdrive and i use icloud fotos. It is a mess. What is the clean workflow here and why? 1. Record on to laptop disk? 2. Move to gdrive (or why not icloud?) so editors can access it. 1. If cloud storage becomes too large, backup on usb drive?

Update - $10k/month
I wanted to give you an update on my journey. Currently, I am working with one client that I closed in January. In January, I generated $3650 in revenue, but unfortunately, I didn't generate any revenue in February. I sent 1800 Instagram direct messages (DMs) and booked seven meetings. However, I didn't close any new clients in February. One thing I've noticed is that when you do cold outreach, it takes around three months to convert a client. So, for the meetings I had in February, I plan to engage with those prospects regularly and eventually close three of them in the next three months with a 100% success rate. I was considering hiring an appointment setter, but many people suggested that it's too early to do so. So, I'm not sure whether I should go for it or not. My plan for this month is to stick to one strategy and not get distracted by different options. I will continue reaching out from Instagram and have already started posting content on LinkedIn and doing outreach from there as well. I will start posting content on either YouTube or Instagram, but I'm not sure which one yet. I'm also working on building a product that I can share with my prospects to gain their trust.

The Myth, Mistake and REAL Opportunity of Content & Social Media
I think a lot of people (not all) are keen to the opportunity of social media and content. But it's a myth that you just need to "start" and get going, and that it'll all unfold for you. Yea, if you're stuck, or procrastinating it's a smart move to just get going. But the mistake so many new and experienced entrepreneurs make is just checking the box. Social media, content, video—it's not an opportunity if you just check the box to say you're "doing it". There are so many people competitively trying to out do you, to capture the attention you say you want. The real opportunity is to go deep on what you're trying to do. Don't just set out to make a YouTube channel, make the BEST YouTube channel. Don't just make a community, make the BEST community. Don't just make a newsletter, make the BEST newsletter. You get the idea. If you don't go deep, you'll likely just scratch the surface, spread yourself thin, and make zero impact. I fall victim to this myself. Do you really want to make something unique and interesting? Doing something big can be scary, so sometimes we don't REALLY try. Is there something big you want to do? do you find yourself sometimes just poking around the edge and not really doing it? or just thinking about it? or doing too many things to make a real impact? What is it? share in the comments what you really want to go deep on. And what's your plan? what's your commitment?

Agree. Competition is going to be massive moving forward so mediocrity (or good enough) won't make the cut anymore.
Can shorts hurt your YouTube channel?
I’ve gone through a couple phases of publishing a lot of shorts on my YouTube channel. Each time the shorts didn’t do much for the channel AND views on my long form videos (published after the shorts) went down. I’m not sure if this was caused by the shorts or not. The gurus seem split as to whether shorts are good for channels. Have any of you had a good experience with YouTube shorts?

I don't think they hurt unless you overdue them.
What should my main traffic source be?
I’m trying to grow a coaching business to help people overcome instant gratification. Bad habits like phone addiction, gaming, social media, procrastination, substances, overeating, etc. What platform should I focus on growing on?

I would focus on YouTube + Insta. In your particular case, it would be also interesting TikTok because of your topic and niche.
