A two and a half hour interview I did with the team from Men of Action.

A lot of the feedback dudes give each other on pictures comes back to “what scarce resources are you showcasing here?” Or some iteration of that phrase. This is a great baseline, just keep in mind, there’s room for nuance. Travel, adventure, status, creativity, a good physique, good style, good composition, image quality, impossible colors, interesting locations, lack of crowds, mystery, intrigue, variety… these all have varying degrees of scarcity. The more boxes you tick, the better - just don’t think that every “resource” has to be a physical asset. And sometimes, the juxtaposition of several different pictures on the same profile, makes each more scarce than they would be on their own. Some great follow-up questions to ask yourself are: - How difficult would it be for the average dude to recreate this, or a similar shot? - Would an attractive girl either want to join me here, or have the same shot for herself? - Would this picture still be interesting, if there way nobody in it?
