Resistance Band Training?
Whats up guys! Lately I've been getting deep into resistance band training over my typical weights at the gym - and I'm absolutely loving it. Alot of top level fighters use bands a lot more often as their favorite tool to warm up and train. Heres the top reasons for it: ⛓️ Joint-Friendly Tension: Unlike gravity-dependent free weights, bands create smooth, controlled resistance, reducing joint strain while still building muscle. 💪 Variable Resistance: The tension increases the further the band is stretched. This helps target muscles deeply and matches the natural strength curve of your limbs. ✈️ Ultimate Portability: Lightweight and compact, they easily fit into a suitcase or gym bag, allowing you to train anywhere, anytime. 🏋️‍♀️ Versatile & Scalable: Bands can be tailored to all fitness levels, offering everything from assisted pull-ups to explosive athletic and plyometric movements. 🧘‍♂️ Improved Mobility & Rehab: They are ideal for stretching, improving flexibility, and safely re-engaging muscles during physical therapy or recovery. My favorites are the easy portability to train anywhere with it, versatility for mobility/explosive plyos/slow strength training, and variable resistance all throughout the workout! Training Gear Share!
Here’s some favorites pieces of training gear I’ve been loving ALOT lately! One is my resistance bands with the ankle attachment. This is awesome for training my kicks for speed, power, control and working my hip mobility! 💥 The other i havent used a whole lot yet but already LOVE - is these floor sliders that makes it super easy for stretching and improving my flexibility! 🧘‍♂️ What’s an interesting piece of gear you use for training?
