Monday Motivation: "Getting Started"
"If you need perfect conditions to start, it means your success is conditional. If you want unconditional success, then be willing to start in under any circumstance" - Alex Hormozi Hardest part in our fitness/ninja journeys is often starting. We have our built in excuses. "I'm too busy. I've got kids to take care of. I'm too tired after work. It's the holidays - I'll start next year." ❌ The truth is even if you finally had 0 excuses, you would most likely fall off the moment times get tough - what needs to change is our mindsets. A mindset that says "no matter what, I'm doing this." This is the mindset that creates discipline, consistency and most of all RESULTS. πŸ’― This week, don't make any excuses. Get started now πŸ’ͺ
Weekly Training Motivation + Exciting Update!
Happy Thanksgiving Ninjas πŸ¦ƒ 🍁 Sorry I haven't been giving my usual updates - I was working on something to really help the community make strides towards building Ninja-like athleticism and its now here - the Full Body Mobility course is finally here! 🀩 This FBM course focuses on: 🀯 building awareness of our main joints: hips, shoulders, knees, lower back, spine, neck ❌ Eliminating stiffness πŸ’ͺ Strengthening our weak points βœ… Improving Range of Movement 🌊 Building fluidity and smoothness into our movements 😀 Increasing confidence in our bodies capabilities πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ Providing options for each level of fitness: beginners who suffer from stiffness all day to athletes wanting to challenge themselves! The course is up in the Classroom tab in the Mobility/Flexibility Section and ready to view and work through it ⬆️ I recommend approaching these workouts like any other strength training session - as that is exactly what this is and add it to your weekly routine 1-2x a week. Once you start doing these workouts, let me (and the community) know how its going for you as I'd love to get some feed back on it πŸ™ Lastly, here's our training motivation for the week: "Don’t sacrifice what you want most for what you want now.” - Unknown Holiday time is when a lot of excuses gets made and we find ourselves falling off or even falling backwards in our goals. It's important we enjoy this time but also not let it hurt our progress we've built. Stay locked in, continue keeping what you want most as your top priority and enjoy your holidays in a way that won't have regrets πŸ’―

Motivation Monday: "At The End Of Pain"
"At the end of pain is success. Pain is temporary. It may last for a minute, or an hour, or a day, or even a year, but eventually, it will subside, and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it will last forever." - Ray Lewis Been going through an NFL highlights reel and watching a few Ray Lewis clips. His story and energy, aside from his incredible physicality, is some of the best and most inspiring things I've come across. He came from a lot of pain growing up, but through that it made him stronger mentally and physically till he became the legendary NFL Hall of Famer he is today πŸ† As we go through this week, think about what pain you need to push through to get to where you want to be 😀 Whether it is in training in the gym or in life, understand that the pain is temporary. And eventually something else WILL take its place - whether it is becoming physically stronger, shaping more mental fortitude, creating more mobility, losing fat, building muscle, having better finances, creating better opportunities πŸ’ͺ Quitting however, especially towards something you wanted, may feel better in the moment to stop the pain - but will last on your mind and your heart. It will be the subtle ache and haunting in your mind asking you, "What if... What if I had trained a little more? What if I had put in the work towards the body I wanted? What if I pushed though the doubts and did it anyway?" 😣 Questions like this keep you up at night. That's why a quitters life isn't an easy one. You get better rest as a champion at the end of the finish line πŸ’― 🚨 So if you're feeling pain, discomfort, tiredness - don't stop, push through it 🚨

Training Motto Of The Week "Think Gold"
πŸ† "Think Gold And Never Settle For Silver" - Jim Afremow πŸ† A great quote referencing the mindset of Olympic athletes and their mindset in training. They are actively envisioning a gold standard, not just at time to perform, but the months and years in prep before it πŸ’ͺ Like it or not, the results of our workouts are determined by the standards we set for ourselves πŸ’― If we have a standard to just show up, to just "survive" the workout - then that is all you will be able to do - survive and get the bare minimum πŸ‘Ž But if we set the standard higher to not just "survive" but to "thrive", to go above and beyond, and set a standard of GOLD - the results will be something we will truly be proud of and testament of our work ethic βœ… 🚨 So what does it mean to set this standard and "think GOLD" - it means showing up early, warming up properly, envisioning what you will do, setting gameplans of what you wish to achieve, pushing through exhaustion or pain or doubt or any negative emotions holding you back, not making excuses and raising the bar from your previous performance 🚨 This is the GOLD standard πŸ₯‡ It is hard, it is painful, and it is what separates 99% of people who don't push themselves consistently from the 1% who give everything everytime πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ Apply this mentality to your training and see how it pushes you to a new level. What does Gold standard training look like for you this week?

Training Motto Of The Week: Everyone's Got A Plan...
"Everyone has a plan till they get punched in the mouth" - Mike Tyson πŸ₯Š We all have goals and timelines in our training, with that comes the plan we love to strategize on. "I want to lose X weight by this date... I want to lift Y weight by this time... I want to prepared and ready to participate in Z event at this time...I just have to do XYZ for this amount of time and I'll be ready!" Then you get punched in the mouth, AKA: something doesn't go as planned, the schedule gets thrown off, someone doesn't do what they say they'll do, injuries occur 😫 It sucks. Its annoying. Its frustrating. And its also part of life. Plans fall apart all the time. The question is, what will you do when that happens? How will you adapt to it? 🧐 There is no winning, no well earned victory, without the grit to overcome unforeseen challenges πŸ’ͺ So this week think - what ways will you need to adapt and have grit to power through some unforeseen challenges?
