Monday Motivation: No Negotiating
Happy monday everyone! I wanted to share an important tip for training this week which is no negotiating with yourself, I heard it best from one of the greatest basketball players ever Kobe Bryant share his thoughts on it in the clip below ⬇️ If you say you're going to do it, then thats it - the contract is signed and you can't take it back. If you find yourself saying maybe you should relax, take a break, go slow, skip - be aware of that voice in you and immediately stop it. It is the weak part of you looking to take over πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ Do not allow your self doubts to get in between you and your goals!

Kickboxing Live Last Weekend Was πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
Me @Denis Vasic @Sam Brosnan got in a good training this past weekend! 7 rounds all out kickboxing, no quit 😀πŸ’ͺ Was a great workout training with like minded martial artists across the world! Decided to make this a regular training every week Saturday 4pm EST! If you missed it no worries, come join on the next one! All levels welcome!

Cardio Week! What are we focusing on in our training?
I've been feeling rather slow lately from lifting too heavy and not doing enough cardio and bagwork so this week I'll be focusing on getting more miles in via bike and treadmill (its cold outside in Virginia!) and doing more shadowboxing and bagwork. How about you guys?

Monday Motivation: Any Jackie Chan Fans here?
Happy Monday everyone! Any Jackie Chan fans here? I'm a pretty big one, especially for how mixes his acrobat stunts with comedy. But more importantly his martial arts movements is some of the best, and dare I say ninja like of all! I wanted to share a very cool scene from an old movie of his called "Wheels on Meals" showcasing his morning training routine with his costar Yuen. It gets me pumped to train when I see how they get. What do you guys think?
Training Motto Of The Week: An Indomitable Will
"Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will." - Mahatma Ghandi I recently dealt with a setback the beginning of the new year and in the past this led to me spiraling and falling into rough habits and a possible hangover πŸ€• But instead of doing that - I went to the gym and trained for nearly 2 hours (and the next day too) πŸ’ͺ I attached a video of it below. Setbacks happen, problems drop unexpectedly and the most important thing to realize is strength isn't just physical as we often talk in fitness but mental too - the willpower to persevere difficult times, an indomitable will πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ Whatever you may be going through and dealing with, find the willpower to push through and persevere, even by a fraction more than before to priotize the right habits over the wrong ones. πŸ’―
