Nourishing your mind, body and spirit.
TAKING ACTION: ✅ After reading today’s post, comment NOURISH below if you’re ready to learn some tips on how to comprehensively nourish your body! If time permits, let me know how you’re feeling overall. “If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health.” ~Hippocrates You must make the turn if you want to continue your journey. I believe that when you keep going, you eventually learn to love the journey—you fall in love with nourishing your mind and body. ❤️ Learning how to nourish your body is important, but the ultimate goal is that it becomes your life—that you crave nourishment because of the way it makes you feel. If that seems like a far-fetched idea, I encourage you to show up this week. It may feel like a distant dream from where you’re standing right now, but remember, Point Z looks very different depending on where you’re standing. If you’re standing at Point A, a lifestyle of nourishing your body won’t happen overnight. It might take months or even years. That’s okay. As long as you’re progressing, that’s all that matters because progression means you’re evolving. Progression means you’re changing. Progression means you’re growing. Nourishment isn’t punishment. It’s life-giving, and there are numerous ways to nourish your body that we’re going to discuss this week. Once you truly believe and embody comprehensive nourishment, there’s no going back…🫶

Not too bad. Still having some back issues.
Trying to find myself again
This might be too much but if I’m here but not here I’m okay. Right now I’m trying to regain myself and put myself first then family, friends and so on. I’m a biological mom of 3 but a mom to many. My biological family needs me to focus on them. 3 years ago our youngest son who is 31 ended up in a messy ,expensive divorce , there was a paternity test to make sure that our granddaughter was actually his daughter. Our ex daughter-in-law and her family definitely took advantage of our family and our kindness and status in life. Unfortunately, it took a toll on our sons mental health and she is still manipulating him . She’s flaunting a new boyfriend in front of him and his daughter is now calling the new boyfriend dad. Unfortunately now he’s totally confused and I think he needs more help than what we have been giving him.. Hopefully he will go back to seeing his psychiatrist and psychologist. This weekend has taken a lot out on me mentally emotionally and physically so if I stepped back for a little bit and it’s just I’m trying to find myself. I’ve already texted my compassion counselor. I will be meeting up with her so I can talk through everything that’s going on. My our Heavenly Father hold us all in the palm of his and guide us through this journey together. Hugs Jackie

@Aleiah Kennedy I was thinking the other day I need to find some back stretches or yoga to do.

@Denise Hopkins I had to pay $60 for a yearly membership but got 20% off my first order and a free gift. The only store I have close is Walmart so they do not have a lot of the stuff I ordered. I paid $80.00 on my first order and I got quite a bit. I like it so far.
Saturday food prep
I made this egg white frittata for my breakfasts this week. And my second attempt at sourdough bread looks much better than the first. 😊

Friday WINS!
TAKING ACTION: ✅ Share your weekly wins below and let’s celebrate one another! 🎉 I know today is all about celebrating our wins, and don’t worry—we’re going to get there; however, last weekend, we began discussing the reality that many people struggle on the weekends. As the honeymoon phase begins to seem more like a distant memory, I think we need to continue this conversation and get you mentally set up for the weekend ahead! 💯 As I mentioned last Saturday, I believe the weekends are a struggle mainly for these reasons ⬇️ 👉You’re used to eating out, parties, etc., on weekends. These scenarios typically offer highly palatable foods full of sugar and fat. When you eat them, your brain releases a major splurge of dopamine (the feel-good chemical). 👉Conditioned Reinforcement. Your body and brain remember the time, place, and even potential triggers. The next time you go to that same restaurant on a Friday night, it begins craving that dopamine again; therefore, you eat the food. Do these most common reasons make sense to you? Do they feel correct as you’re considering them? If so, the good news is that you can overcome them—however, the only way to overcome them is to change things up so that your brain can create new habits. For the sake of time today, we’ll talk about some strategies first thing in the morning, friends! Now, let’s go crush our day and, as always, celebrate our small wins! 🎉
