It’s great that you are enjoying the wisdom and training that Sonny and the staff are giving us
Tai chi walking.
So I was bringing in some 20kg salt bags, that's about 50lbs. to you Americans. Decide to practice tai chi walking. I'm pretty sure I would have crashed through the ice.

Sounds like you are a Shaolin Priest walking on rice paper without leaving any footprints
Taijiquan Explained by Jet Li
If you have a spare 45 minutes, below (in my opinion) is a fascinating chat between Jet Li and his daughter about Tai Chi. I really like how he describes the three levels of form, energy and mind. He is also very keen that Tai Chi doesn't get commercialised. He also acknowledges that though he isn't an expert in Tai Chi he really loves it.

🌿 7-Day Challenge Accountability Thread
Hey everyone, whether you’re starting fresh because you just arrived or you’re restarting like me to re-establish your practice, this is our spot. The 7-day challenge always feels more grounding when we move together, so this post will stay pinned for our daily check-ins. Let’s show up, keep it simple, and take it one day at a time. ✅ How to Check In Each Day After you finish your practice, follow these three steps: 1. State which day of the challenge you’re on. Example: Day 1, Day 3, Day 7, etc. 2. How you felt before and after. One short sentence for each. 3. Screenshot or photo: A quick picture of your screen, TV, or you practicing. Feel free to leave encouragement for others. A little support goes a long way. ✨ Sample Check-In 1. Day: 1 2. Before: Feeling tight 3. After: Calm and relaxed 4. (Photo attached)

Redo Day 5 1. Before: Very tired. Wanted to join the zoom class but night shift last night. Very busy and we lost a 4 mo old little girl. Not only devastating for the family but also the health care staff. Feel very guilty and didn’t sleep well but felt doing Qi Gong session followed by Day 5 would give me some energy to go to work tonight. 2. After: Felt better, a little more grounded. Not looking forward to going to work tonight. 3. Enjoyed the Qi Talk session on Tai Ji Basics. Wish I could find some exercises to stretch my hamstrings. I’m not very limber and my eagle looks horrible. 4. Future: This is my Friday night and my last shift until next Friday. Looking forward to 2 practice shifts a day for five days to help me get get my psych back in order
