Hi all! I have recently been inspired to increase my longevity by gaining awareness, strength and trust in my physical body. Injury after injury (along with 20 yr chronic ballet injuries) has made this a very slow and painful path.
I recently have been learning about pandiculation, and attempting in my various movement practices (eg yoga, strength training) to incorporate it, along with a ‘warm up’ by doing a movement really really slowly and mindfully, flowing with my breath. Telling my body this is safe, i can trust myself, i will stop at a niggle, its safe to get it wrong etc… basically trying to reset my mind body connection, and hopefully decrease my pain levels and kinesiophobia.
I have done this added thought process intuitively, but im wondering if its a ‘thing’ and if it will come up in the 3 day course?
