A lesson from my 4 year old nephew
(A share from today's morning pages - too funny not to...)
What do I want to say to the world right now?
“Look at what I can do”
Like Stuart (from MTV)
Like a kid
Like an Evan (my nephew)
Yelling out in cantonese (from the toilet) “LAY TAI - bay Seena yiyi tai!” (translation: Look! - let auntie Selena see!)
Look at my poo - what a glorious poo it is.
There’s a lesson in that.
That even my sh!t is worthy of admiration
In the eyes of a child
Looking at the world with uninhibited, unjaded, wonder
Raised in a world that surrounds him with love and holds him in safety
; conditioned with a deep innate Knowing that when he reaches his arms out and asks to receive;
that he will be met,
that he will be granted that which he needs.
Go on’
Show it off
They deserve to admire thee.
