I was on the Discovery page in the Skool app, and I inadvertently swiped up and it decided I wanted to turn growth boost off. I must have swiped up on the slider. (I hate working in the app) Do note turn growth boost off! You would lose a lot. I was able to see what happens when you move the Growth Boost slider from 30% to 0%, which turns Growth Boost off. (if you confirm) Once again don't confirm unless you talk to me. I didn't actually turn it off. Before anything changes, Skool shows a confirmation page that asks, "Do you really want to do this?" and they include a checkbox below the warning message to confirm choice. The page also explains what happens to your ranking if you continue. Keep in mind that this is a brand-new community, which is why our current rankings are low. Why this matters: turning off Growth Boost also removes your community from Skool Discovery and affects your ranking, so it's important to understand what you lose before you change this setting.

Skool is clearly ramping up Growth Boost. I just came across one of those long Facebook ad series, and by my count it featured 165 different communities. What stood out to me is that there didn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to which communities were included or how they were grouped. It reminded me a lot of what we saw at the very beginning of Growth Boost, the phase Skool is now calling Stage 1. Back then the placements felt pretty scattered too, and it took a while before any clear patterns showed up. Has anyone else seen these recent ads? I'm curious whether your community showed up and if you've noticed any change in traffic or new members since.
