Happy Wednesday, builders! ❤️🐼 Here’s what’s on my building table: My community is new. People join, but many stay quiet. When I post a question, the same few people answer. Try: this week I posted a 60-second video with one question at the end. It got 16 comments, and members started talking to each other, not just to me. My question for the builders here: what helped YOUR quiet members say their first word?

Good morning, builders! ❤️☕ You know what I caught myself doing the other day? Sitting there trying to work something out in my head, going around in circles, getting a little frustrated, and still not asking for help. Todd was right there. LOL! I started thinking about how often I do that. Somewhere along the way, we get this idea that we should know what we're doing. That if we're leading something, building something, or helping others, we should have the answers. But why? Funny how we can give other people plenty of room to learn, make mistakes, and figure things out, but forget to give ourselves that same grace. Some of my best learning has happened when I finally admitted I didn't know. Sometimes the person who helped me see things differently simply asked a question I hadn't considered. Maybe we don't always need another answer. Maybe we just need to be willing to say, "I'm still figuring this out." What's something you're still learning to give yourself permission NOT to know? I'll bet we're not as alone in that as we sometimes think. ❤️

With the help of ChatGPT I just created a basic CRM to help me start to organise my community as it slowly grows, to capture email addresses, and keep a track of what everyone is doing. I can also take notes around what my members are interested in, so I can create content around those areas as I'm already doing it at home. Technology and I do have some energetic wobblies so this is a big step for me 😂 I am also in a bit of a dilemma around AI data centers, environmental concerns, and it's ethical use but also using it helps me to save a lot of money and time which in then in turns means I can do a lot more good. 😱 It's complicated 😂

Two wonderful women I'm excited to celebrate! 🎉💜 I've been looking through the speaker lineup for the Human Advantage Summit, and there are so many conversations I'm looking forward to! Two I'm especially excited about are from @Christy Keeter and @Jessica Cosci ❤️ Christy is a dear friend and a fellow former educator. She's going to be sharing how we can take all those skills, experiences, ideas, and resources we've collected over the years and begin connecting the pieces, with a little help from AI. And our friend, Jessica, who's bringing this whole summit together, is tackling something I think we can all relate to. Just because AI can help us create something quickly doesn't necessarily mean we've created something people need! She's going to walk us through thinking about the people we're serving, the results we're trying to help them achieve, and what really needs to be included in an offer before we start building it. You can probably see why I'm excited about both conversations! 😂 I'll be sharing how our own experience might become the foundation for bringing people together through a community-led business. Three different perspectives, but so much that connects them.
