The contagion of Black Friday chaos has begun.
The mind is a powerful yet often easily swayed tool in holiday chaos to hunt for hours on things we don't need yet suddenly desire.
A foundational principle of The Productized Coach is to "Only focus on what is essential".
Which is why I suggest a simple approach for B.F:
- Take a deep breath
- Write a list of all the gifts/things you need (1 year of protein powder is an easy practical buy right now)
- Set a timer for 30 minutes.
- Buy everything knowing you can return it
- Be present, have an amazing Friday
We're about to start our family brunch so I'm logging off for the day.
Being present with my wife & kids > stuff.
