Evening, Just finished reading little L one bed time stories and had a thought on the very uncertain future of information products... I fundamentally believe that static courses and coaching programs are dying a rapid death. You've probably heard this before but the proof is in your actions. So here's the million dollar question... Have you ever taken a transcript of a course/video/book, plugged it into an AI model and said "summarize this" or "do this for me?" I know I can be the only one 😂 (And I know the level of energy dictates the shift between "do it for me" and "help me implement") That's why I see three big shifts in the way I'm focused on to make sure I'm over deliver for clients (thus leading to more clients): First is shifting from courses to software and tools. I've share this a lot but it's important to note that giving someone a tool that they can pickup and use is more valuable than "learning" how to do something. I would LOVE you to learn the art of writing and sales copy. You would make so much money if you did. But I know you probably don't want to go through a massive training program to get there. So it's wayyy better for me to just give you a Chatgpt/Claude skill that does it for you. Same with anything. Second, I believe live experiences are going to sell better and convert better. Everytime I run a workshop I typically: - Make 10K - Get 5-7 clients Doesn't matter what the topic, that's the average. And it's simply because you and me like to actually be around other humans! Humans rock. And I don't know about you but ranting all my questions to AI works great sometimes for ideas but doesn't hit home the same way a human does. Finally, community. We want a place to hang out! Plus show up live. (We're going to be planning events in Japan, Florida and my home town Campbell River next year now my kids are older and we want to get back to traveling, stay tuned.) Live events, being around people are where I've made thee most money and also helped clients make a lot of money!
