PS I got my book to #1 by getting influencers to endorse my book without needing to pay them.
PPS I was also a top ten (in the whole marketplace) on Clickbank for 5 years because I got people to promote me and I only paid AFTER they sent sales. FUN note: I was getting 30,000 visitors a day on normal days.
