This past week I wrapped up a small campaign.
My partner was hoping to some serious sales from it.
But it didn't happen.
We were selling a membership that little did I know, was on a the decline from their audience.
So we iterated.
Now, I've had some success with this partner back in December.
But I had worked with the audience enough to know that the audience was craving ACCESS to the expert.
Something they had never made available.
And I had began seeding this idea back in January with said expert.
So when they asked if I was open to rolling this out?
I of course said, "Yes".
Because even though it was a NEW untested offer?
All I was really doing was changing up the "where" and "when" of the offer...(timing is important).
Bottom line?
I sent email #1 to a 3800 person list.
Email #2, #3, and #4, to a 6500 person buyers list.
Email #5 went to a larger house list but only netted me about 5 or 6 new sales.
All in all? Those 5 emails turned into $521,476 in sales.
With $263,064.00 of that being cash collected.
And the first two emails didn't even sell anything.
You see, I "quietly" launched this new offer...
NOT knowing if in fact I'd fill all 100 spots or not from the buyers list.
This audience had NEVER invested at this level before.
Because spots went for $5328 with 12 payments or $4444 PIF?
There was a possibility they wouldn't bite.
So by quietly launching I was able to work the hand raisers leads that came in from email #1 and #2 where I was taking their temperature (Temperature T1's)
Before email #3 went out 9 days later?
I had already pulled in $248,000 in sales from the buyers list by T2'ing the hand raisers and then sending them a short T3.
So the next 3 emails that went out were more of "the doors are open" with similar call to action to reach out to me.
Which resulted in the balance of the sales.
I actually oversold the campaign by 7 sales in just over 2 weeks.
The whole point if this is that the campaign came from another "failed" campaign.
I was actually still sending emails for the first campaign that was in the midst of shitting the bed when I sent email #1 for this new campaign.
And I use the phrase "failed" loosely.
Because as always points out. It's the decision we make AFTER something shits the bed that defines us.
In this case I just used the shit as fertilizer:-)
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
[EDIT] Btw I wanna thank fellow Ronin and for jumping in and lending their tapping efforts. Total studs! In your corner,
