You don’t win by stepping on people. That's a lie you'll hear from bitter and miserable people who want to feel better about where they're at. It sounds like this: “I could be successful, but I’m not willing to screw people over.” The real truth is the opposite. Winning isn't about tearing other people down. It's about building other people up. You literally cannot win without other people. Because none of us can do it alone. It takes a great team... A great culture... A great community... A great company... ...and if you're ever going to create anything worth talking about... You have to contribute to the people around you first. Provide value. Set a good example. Hold a high standard. Offer your support. Show your appreciation. Give without expectation of a return. Eliminate the idea that you have to screw people over to get ahead from your mind completely. It’s Tuesday and after the relaxing long weekend it is a struggle sitting at the desk WFH on such a warm day. Today’s expected top is 35-37C (95-99F) so I chose to grab the 3 piece but the jacket was only worn for these photos. It went straight back into the cupboard as it wont get worn today. My OTAA tie is just terrific, it holds its dimple so well. Polished up the shoe toes last night and they look great IMO. Hope everyone is safe and well and keeping either out of the Blizzard in the US or hydrated here in Australia. M.J.
