This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

Mediterranean-Meets-Texas Casual Look
How to Master the Mediterranean-Meets-Texas Casual Look Yes, I used AI to write this simply because it explains it far better than I can. I hope you enjoy. Gentlemen, today we are breaking down a masterful ensemble that hits the ultimate sweet spot in menswear: relaxed sophistication. If you want to know how to perfectly bridge the gap between a breezy Mediterranean sensibility and a touch of rugged Texas casual flair, pay attention. This outfit is a masterclass in the interplay of texture, color harmony, and strategic accessorizing. Here is exactly why this look works and how you can apply these principles to your own wardrobe. 1. The Breathable Foundation: Cream & Windowpane The foundation of this outfit is built on light, airy tones that immediately evoke the feeling of a sunny Mediterranean coastline. We start with a cream-colored, windowpane-patterned jacket layered over a vertically striped polo in a similar hue. Notice the fabric—this isn't a stiff, heavy worsted wool. It’s a lightweight cotton blend. It offers you the masculine silhouette and structure of a tailored jacket, but with a relaxed drape that keeps you comfortable in the heat. The subtle windowpane pattern and vertical stripes add visual interest without fighting for attention. 2. The Anchor: Olive Green Trousers You need a way to ground those lighter tones on top, and this outfit does it brilliantly with rich, olive green trousers. Gentlemen, olive is one of the most underutilized colors in a man's wardrobe. It acts as a rugged, earthy neutral that provides a striking contrast to the cream jacket without being as harsh or predictable as navy or black. It adds depth to the outfit and naturally connects the look to earthy, outdoor elements. 3. The Rugged Refinement: Brown Leather Accents Here is where the "Texas casual" vibe really shines. The look is tied together by strategic accents of rich, warm brown. The foundation is set by the footwear: a pair of polished leather Chelsea boots. Chelsea boots offer a dose of rugged masculinity while remaining sleek and refined enough to elevate the entire outfit. To show intentionality, that warm brown leather is subtly echoed in the pocket square and the faint check of the jacket. It proves that this outfit wasn't just thrown together—it was curated.

The final office day of a busy week. Any notion of a relaxed Friday outfit just means I am not ready for the inevitable unexpected meeting with a client or potential client. I am ready... and we've already added an unexpected potential client meeting. Look at Murphy and his laws, smile, and say "Bring it!" • Blazer — DOJ-007 (Ralph Lauren): A classic navy wool blazer from Ralph Lauren with brass buttons and a slight sheen finish. Medium-light weight with rope and padded shoulders, featuring a small notch lapel and single rear vent. Full polyester lining in solid navy provides structure while the gold sleeve buttons add a touch of classic Americana—perfect for blending authority with approachability during BD calls. • Shirt — DS-041 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A Charles Tyrwhitt non-iron twill dress shirt in light blue with a Glen check pattern featuring navy and cream accents. Slim-cut with a classic point collar, soft cotton hand, and barrel cuffs with two vertical buttons. The diagonal textured twill weave provides subtle visual interest without competing with the jacket, while the non-iron finish keeps things crisp through a full day of meetings. • Undershirt — US-016 (True Classic): A True Classic crew neck undershirt in lavender with almost no drape for a clean silhouette. Cotton blend in a regular fabric weight—the lavender tone coordinates invisibly beneath the light blue Glen-check shirt while providing all-day comfort. • Slacks — SL-011 (Peter Millar): Dark blue wool slacks from Peter Millar with light blue secondary tones and a subtle small box pattern. Fully lined with a slight sheen, featuring slanted pockets and a tailored fit with a low rise. These suit-paired trousers (paired with SJ-002) drape beautifully with a medium-to-full break—business classic formality ideal for in-person meetings. • Tie — NT-011 (Nordstrom): A Nordstrom silk necktie in lavender with cream accents featuring a tiny squares pattern. 2-fold construction with a keeper loop—the soft lavender plays beautifully off both the shirt's blue Prince of Wales and the navy blazer, creating a cohesive pastel-meets-navy color story that reads refined but approachable.

Reading is more than fundamental
Part of my New Year’s resolution was to increase my learning and knowledge. One of my biggest hurdles for me was to get back into reading. I was never an avid reader; truth be known, I read only when necessary meaning school. But now I see the need to read to not just to read, but to learn and grow in knowledge. I read some stats the other days, 5% of millionaires read at least two books a month, while 25% of the population didn’t read a single book all last year. The gap between where you are and where you want to be is often just a few hundred pages away. I learned that is a simple formula; the three steps, a psychological blueprint, to read an entire book every single week. This challenge is about making growth inevitable not just a spare time activity. The challenge starts with trick number one: implementation, intention most people buy books and say I’ll read this later but later never comes. Stop wishing and start scheduling; physically write down the exact time and place you will read, treat it like a doctor’s appointment or a job interview. You wouldn’t skip those so don’t skip your growth. Your growth is a scheduled appointment not something you do when you’re bored for example, I will read in my favorite armchair at 7 AM while having coffee. Be specific so your brain has no excuse excuses. Trick two: taking a 200 page book looks intimidating like a mountain you can’t climb, but let’s look at like a map. It only takes about five hours of total focus to finish a standard book that’s just 45 minutes a day that’s it. break it down into chapters or even 10 page segments,so your brain sees an easy win instead of an impossible task. Success is built on small chunks. Finally use the temptation reward: This is how you make reading feel like a reward rather than a chore. Tell yourself for every chapter I finish I get 15 minutes of my favorite show. You’re anchoring the discipline to a high-level pleasure. Suddenly, your brain associates the focus of reading with the dopamine of your reward. It becomes a habit you actually look forward to.
