Do You Value The Person Your With?
Good morning gentlemen, I was thinking the other day about relationships and how we tend to fall into taking people in our lives for granted. I am not saying you are a bad person, I simply saying we all sometimes forget this important fact when it comes to relationships. So when it comes to those little disagreements, those, times when you feel they get on your nerves, when you want to go do you, and they want you to spend time with them. When it comes to remembering birthdays, anniversaries, even those dates that you think might be insignificant to you but not to them. Your spouse or significant other is the only person in your life who loved you purely by choice. Your parents love you because you’re theirs. Your siblings love you because you share blood. Your kids because you brought them here. But your spouse or significant other; they didn’t have to, they weren’t assigned to you, they weren’t obligated to stay. They chose you out of everyone. They picked you to build a life with, so don’t treat that love like it’s guaranteed. Gentlemen, take a moment and reflect on the person that is in your lives, ask yourself when was the last time you trust old them how you felt about them. When was the last time you made them feel that they are special, they have a special part in your life, or that you honor and respect them.? Let them know now, do not assume they know, and do not put it off because you never know how long they will be in your life.
