Just saw this on my local news, apparently this was a couple of days ago. Dominick Critelli, a 104-year-old World War II veteran, took the ice in a blue Islanders jersey and performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" with his saxophone. Ever since @Antonio Centeno announced that we were going paid, I’ve been mulling this over. Agonizing. Can I do this? SHOULD I do this? I’ve never paid for a social media account before. Not Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. I’m not very active on any of those because a lot of stuff that comes across holds no interest for me. I AM, however, active on HERE. Not as much as I used to be, not as much as I think maybe I should be. But still active. I signed up for premium tonight, at the 11th hour to be sure, but I did. Not because of Antonio’s pitches. Not because he DM’d me twice about it. No, I did it because of you guys. I thought about how much I’d miss interacting with all of you. Posting OOTDs, helping others, getting feedback, learning from you guys, seeing how much @Brian McGuire and @Alex Kilpatrick are showing me up because I don’t wear sport coats enough. (I’m KIDDING, guys!) I’d miss the camaraderie that I’ve found here…so I bit the bullet and took the plunge. I’m happy to be here, even at a paid level.
