While a bit sartorial, it’s much more of a memory. My wife and I visited the Acropolis during our honeymoon in 2005 and took the first photo. Today we attempted to recreate it though the structure had been heavily altered since then. Our guide helped us find the right spot and cried as she saw the original photo.

So for #funfitfriday I am taking the new Brown Washed Velvet jacket I got for a steal yesterday and giving it its first outting and photo shoot. I love the texture and feel to the velvet, though putting the overcoat on over the top was a little harder than usual. That pile even though short does catch very easily. Just mean I need to hold the end of the sleeves and then adjust once it is all on. I did toss up between this Green Cap and my Brown and Charcoal Houndstooth, but as I was mainly a green base and had not worn this cap in a few weeks it got the call up. Last week day of the current school holidays today, so the girls and I went for a walk to get these photos, taken by my 12 years old (Poppy) while my youngest was taking her own photos of one of her toys in different spots. We also went to get the Friday coffee together, all three of us for a change, then some hot chips and home for lunch. Todays outfit consists of; M.J.
