OOTD 2026-03-20: A Concert - Favorite Band, Favorite Venue...
I'm out of town, by myself, for the weekend for an appointment tomorrow. As luck would have it - or perhaps as I planned it - my favorite band is playing at my favorite venue this evening, and I happen to have a ticket! 😁 My favorite band is Sister Hazel; they've been my favorite band since high school - mostly, admittedly, for nostalgic reasons. However, a lot of their songs really spoke to me - most of which were never played on the radio. I didn't understand why until years later, but it's suffice to say that the lead singer and I have a surprising amount of things in common, from a particular perspective. They're playing at Avondale Brewing Company, which is my favorite concert venue. You'll understand why when I post pictures from the concert later. I brought five outfits for this trip, including my traveling outfit - all of which feature Criquet polo shirts. Incidentally, they will all feature Erebus watches, but that's a coincidence - I started with the Criquet polos... Outfit rundown: - Black, wool felt, "La Famiglia" Trilby by Scala from The Mob Museum, Las Vegas - Black, Top Shelf Range Polo shirt by Criquet - Black jeans by Madewell - Black, leather suspenders by JJ Suspenders - Black, nubuck leather, Derby boots by Carets - Purple, Super 130's wool sportscoat by Cremieux - Black and silver paisley, silk pocket square by Ron Cornell - Gunmetal, Star Wars Millennium Falcon lapel pin - Sterling Silver, Star Wars X-Wing necklace by Rocklove - Dark gray, Star Wars Millennium Falcon, silicone wedding ring by Enso - Silver, 1945 Walking Liberty half-dollar, coin ring SOTD: Angelic Aged Whiskey of Mind Control by Dua Fragrances WOTD: Ascent Aventurine 41mm GADA Automatic by Erebus

1st Day of Spring
This is exactly how you want to approach first-day-of-spring dressing in San Antonio—light, breathable, and quietly confident without trying too hard. My pale blue Peter Milar linen shirt reads cool against the rising heat, while the khaki trousers anchor the look with a classic, dependable structure. The Allen Edmund dark brown suede horsebit loafers introduce texture and depth, giving the outfit a refined, coastal sensibility that feels intentional rather than seasonal cliché. Paired with the gold-toned watch and the aquatic backbone of Acqua di Giò Profondo, the overall impression is relaxed authority—someone who understands both climate and composition.
