The judge awarded my wife the ability to help a struggling family member who is presently at my home getting the necessary medical and psychiatric help needed. My wife has worked nightly for three months for this day. I would like to think the fact that she and I showed up respectfully dressed helped her case a little bit. (After 3 hours of watching one after another case getting postponed for guardianship we were the only successful one all day with this very demanding judge). But I am sure the good work by the attorney and preparation by my former para legal wife had a lot to do with it as well. It is #funfitfriday so that means I get to try out different style outfits and go for the weekly coffee with my 8 year old daughter before school. I purchased this knitted cotton tee yesterday to go with this outfit and take away to Japan later this year, it has a nice waffle/Honey comb texture and is nice and light. So light I actually needed to put a top underneath it to keep that 0° (32°F) temp out. With the Boots I think this may end up being my flight outfit. Today brings the adventure to a close! It will feel good to get home. I always tend to miss my bed the most when I am gone for 2+ weeks. Wearing a bit of a hybrid travel outfit for me today. No tie or jacket, but a vest business casual outfit. Opted for wearing larger items again so as to keep them from the suitcase. One great benefit of being in the airport for a few hours: it's freezing in here and yet 100F outside. We're home for all of a week before heading to Lake Tahoe for another week of celebration. Tahoe is my older son's favorite place in the world (thus far), so before he moves away to college, we wanted to give him one more trip to his spot. The change of scenery from Mediterranean islands to a mountain lake resort (with gambling, if you're not a lifelong statistician...) will be welcoming. Somehow, I need to work in a trip to NYC in early to mid August as well!
