Friday after work Robin and I drove over to Jamestown New York to attend The Jamestown Scandinavian Festival. It is just a little over four hours from Columbus. We met up with our good friend RuthAnne Anhney who was there teaching straw work. We did the tourist thing and took our pictures in front of the Giant Dala Horse. The cardboard gentleman is a Swedish King. My outfit was put together to give a Scandinavia feel and the colors were based on the Norwegian Flag. I am wearing red denim trousers, a white with blue striped shirt, a blue waist coat, red cowboy tie, walnut Chelsea boots and a blue straw fedora. Robin is wearing a violet skirt with a complimentary patterned blouse and a floral headdress she made earlier at the festival. RuthAnne is wearing a white dress with a necklace. We took turns taking the pictures.

Good morning everyone, ready to start the week off. You know it’s funny how people resist change even when it’s for the better. And it never fails when there are people who never get involve but are quick to complain and create dissension to stir things up. I actually feel sorry for people that have problems with their life and feel it necessary for everyone to feel the way they feel. I say all this to say this, we have a choice whether we believe it or not. We cannot control what others do but we can control how we respond to them. There are so many good things happening in my life and I am truly blessed by the friendships I have gained and the positions, promotions and, status in life that I am heading for. I try to represent my family, my company, my community, and the friends that I have been fortunate to have. This journey has taught me so much on being a gentleman and why and how this affects not just me but every aspect around me. What I have learned and I am learning I try to share with others especially in my actions. Today I have staff meeting, and some client meetings that I always try to bring the best reputation of a gentleman I can.
