Gents, a few posts stood out this week for driving great conversation, consistency, and community energy! 1. @Jeffrey Plotka — My First Panama Hat!! 🎩 Jeffrey shared a story that hits home: he'd been searching for the right hat ever since losing a beloved Fedora in a fire at 19. Decades later, he finally found a Panama that just sat right. This is what the style journey is about — not just the piece, but what it means to you. Great discussion in the comments too. Check out his post and join the conversation: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/my-first-panama-hat 2. @Chad Smith — My New Yiume Reel 👕 Chad got sent two shirts from Yiume to style his way and gave us an honest walkthrough — including the challenge of making a bright Lemon Sicily print work in Australian winter. Real, unpolished, and exactly the kind of styling content that helps everyone level up. See how he pulled it together: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/my-new-yiume-reel 3. @Brian McGuire — Into Town 👔 Brian suited up and broke down his three-color scheme (charcoal-brown, yellow/gold, and blue) with the precision of someone who's internalized the principles. Educational AND stylish — the kind of OOTD that teaches as you scroll. Drop in and see the fit: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/into-town 4. @Darren Poesel — New Blue Linen Suit 🔵 A fresh blue linen suit for the season and a 26-like, 29-comment thread that shows the community loves a good purchase showcase. Darren's got taste and the comments back it up: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/new-blue-linen-suit 5. @John C — From Worn to Worthy 🥾 John brought something different: heritage footwear restoration with patina, precision, and purpose. It's a reminder that quality pieces are worth maintaining, not replacing. If you appreciate craftsmanship, this one's for you: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/from-worn-to-worthy-restoring-heritage-footwear-with-patina-precision-and-purpose

Here's how to grab it: 👉 DM him on their Instagram page (@olfactivetraveller) and he'll send you a unique code. A couple quick notes: - The only thing excluded is the OT Traveller — everything else is on the table. - And if tariffs were on your mind, no worries — Marcelo handles that on his end, so the extra cost comes out to around $30. A few new (or new to me) items on this outfit. I've got my first off-white shirt with an ivory CT French cuff shirt. I've got some old-school cufflinks that are connected via a small chain to the double sided holders. Using my Friday rules regarding bringing down cost per wear on items. Have a great weekend, everyone! • Shirt — DS-048 (Charles Tyrwhitt): An ivory non-iron twill dress shirt in 2-ply cotton with French cuffs and a classic point collar. The slim cut delivers a clean silhouette while the soft hand and medium opacity provide all-day comfort without show-through—perfect for layering under a linen vest on video calls. • Undershirt — US-017 (True Classic): A carbon crew-neck undershirt in cotton-polyester blend that disappears beneath the ivory shirt. The darker tone prevents any shadow effect while providing a snug, comfortable base layer throughout the day. • Vest — VWC-004 (Perry Ellis): A natural linen herringbone business vest with five cream/bone buttons and a silver dual-direction rear buckle. Breathable and textured, this Spring/Summer piece adds visual interest and dimension while keeping the outfit cool for warmer June weather. • Slacks — SL-023 (Enzo Tovare): Navy suit slacks in Super 150 lightweight worsted wool with a slight sheen and flat-front design. The 1" cuff and low rise give a modern cut, while the breathable fabric makes these ideal for warm-weather business settings—sophisticated without the weight. • Tie — NT-050 (Paul Fredrick): A steel blue/gray silk tie with silver/white and gold/yellow scattered squares on a herringbone base, 3-fold construction, 4" width. The matte finish and subtle pattern add textural interest without competing with the linen vest—business formal with a modern touch. • Belt — B-012 (Wolksprong): A brown leather heavy-duty belt with light dots and a brass buckle. The warm leather tone bridges the light tan suede shoes while the brass metal coordinates with the gold tie accessories—rugged meets refined.

My First Panama Hat!!
I have been looking for a proper hat for a LONG time. When I was 19 I had bought a Fedora from a hatter in NYC, sadly it got lost in a fire and I had never got another. I would walk into stores and try stuff on and they just didn't sit right. All the real hatters in NYC are gone 😢 at least the ones I have been able to find. I have been wanting a Panama hat to help keep me out of the sun during the summer. As a melanoma survivor this is even more important to me. While we were on a family vacation last week I found a store in Italy that sold Borsalino's and Marone's and they help me size and fit the hat. My wife and kids loved the look and I think it fit really well. I'd love your honest feedback. I will be going to England next month and am planning on visiting Locke & Co a 350yr Hat Store and am hoping to get another felt fedora or something similar. Just to reinforce what @Antonio Centeno says getting a hat that fits and the support of your family while you are wearing it makes the whole process much easier!!
