RMRS Weekly Member Shoutouts 👏
Gents, a few posts stood out this week for driving great conversation, consistency, and community energy. 1. @Chad Smith Post: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/two-terrific-things Big shoutout to Chad for sharing a real-life style win tied to work, personal development, and everyday confidence. His post about using his professional development benefit toward a leather laptop briefcase — and getting noticed for his flat cap — is exactly the kind of practical “style in real life” moment that helps other men connect the dots. 2. @Brian McGuire Post: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/fabric-function-fit Shoutout to Brian for adding depth to the conversation around RMRS' Style Pyramid. His reflection on fabric, function, fit, and decades of classic menswear experience brought real substance to the group and gave members something useful to think about beyond just outfit photos. 3. @Darren Poesel Post: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/date-night-bfc95545 Big shoutout to Darren for the date night post. Linen on linen, thoughtful details, and dressing well for his wife after 30 years — that is a strong reminder that style is not just about looking sharp, it is about showing respect for the people and moments that matter. 4. @Mitch Hoover Post: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/elevating-even-when-its-a-challenge Shoutout to Mitch for showing how to keep elevating your style even when the setting is not ideal. His post had personality, humor, and practical context — a good reminder that dressing intentionally does not require perfect conditions. 5. @Dr. Jason Cole Post: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/ootd-cw-19-may-2026

This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

I just ain’t “that” guy
Funny morning. Woke up to messages from my mom helping her with her home sale. Here at the cabin by the river I had no cell coverage so I drove into the little town nearby to talk to her still in my PJ bottoms, $1 WalMart trophy husband T shirt my wife bought for me and garden shoes. Of course got stopped by a policeman (warning) for driving 41 in a 30. 🚔. Then I stopped to get some gas. But when the pump read pay inside I looked down. Even in this tiny OK fishing town. I just ain’t “that” guy. Still have half a tank will take care of the gas later 😉

Today is all about finalizing the big tasks of the week and preparing to enjoy a three-day weekend in the states. I'm also having a bit of sartorial free-for-all with a summery outfit including seersucker pants. Have a great weekend, everyone! • Blazer — DOJ-006 (Brooks Brothers): A midnight blue (I'm nearly convinced it's a mislabeled black, until I put it next to black) Brooksool blazer with classic brass buttons in a 2-roll-3 configuration. Full acetate lining with rope-padded shoulders and high, tight armholes for a sharp silhouette. The gold buttons echo the gold hardware on today's suspenders, creating subtle metallic harmony throughout the outfit. • Slacks — SL-024 (Brooks Brothers Seersucker): White and mid-blue seersucker trousers from Brooks Brothers in the Fitzgerald cut. High-rise construction with cotton seersucker weave—perfect for late May's warming temperatures. These are rated for both belt and suspenders, making today's braces pairing ideal. • Shirt — DS-043 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A sky blue non-iron herringbone spread-collar dress shirt with French cuffs. Cotton construction with excellent stitch density (5/5) and soft hand feel. The 5" spread collar pairs beautifully with a Half Windsor knot, and the adjustable French cuffs add appropriate formality for the VC meeting. • Undershirt — US-022 (Sene): A white Peruvian Pima cotton made-to-measure undershirt with fantastic fit. Heavy weight with excellent drape—won't show through the sky blue shirt while providing premium all-day comfort. • Tie — NT-042 (Silvio Fiorello): The Renaissance Elegance Light Blue—a Duchesse silk 3-fold tie with two-ply wool interlining. Blue, navy, off-white, and teal in varied geometric patterns create sophisticated visual interest. Hand-rolled edges and self-tipping. Tied in a Half Windsor to complement the spread collar. Tone-on-tone elegance with the sky blue shirt. • Suspenders — SB-003 (JJ Suspenders): Navy Baby Skinny Suspenders in cotton elastic with brown leather Y-back and gold hardware. The 0.75" width is modern and refined, while the navy echoes the seersucker stripes and blazer. Brown leather accents bridge to the dirty bucks.
